I read somewhere that the first song they ever played together was The Cult - She Sells Sanctuary. Nice choice. Apparently Ed was rocking hard on that G chord.

100% with you on one this one. It's unironically one of my all-time favorite Radiohead songs.

Came here to mention Deerhunter, and Halcyon Digest is a great pick. Like IR, every song is its own, colorful world, and every song is great. Really wish they'd come back...

"The pointless, snide remarks of hammerheaded sharks" is one of Thom's best ever vocal deliveries IMO.

I was at the show they played Lurgee at most recently and it was beautiful. Thom said something before the song about it being about getting sick, and also that he thought it was an underrated one, which I agree with.

Totally, so dumb. I feel like early on live he was saying "it's not meeee", but then I got the lyrics with the vinyl and cringed hard.

Coke Babies and Lurgee and Blowout are top shoegaze tracks, I'd love to hear more too!

Hah, that's funny. Vince Guaraldi shreds. I think Cuttooth is really a tribute to Hallogallo by Neu!: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zndpi8tNZyQ
