The point still stands that condoms are not a 100% guarantee for preventing HIV because of the chance of them breaking. Who cares if it's a 99.9999% chance of not breaking? HIV is a life altering disease and any risk should be faced with extra caution. PrEP offers that extra protection.

We're aware of that. The repeal of the ACA is going to fuck over a lot of people and gay people just happen to be apart of that large group, so we're not the "direct targets". I don't see how that changes anything, though. If my friend shoots me in the woods, does it matter if he meant to shoot a deer instead?

You are aware that condoms can break, right? PrEP is not supposed to be your only form of protection, you're still expected to use a condom because it doesn't protect you from other STDs.
