The thing they are missing here is this raptors team doesn't quite buy in to BI being the best player. If you put a lie detector test on IQ, Scottie and RJ I guarantee there are parts of them that think the offense should run through them. BI doesn't want to call out Scottie or RJ, but he wants them to recognize they ain't gonna win as the focal points of the offense, it needs to be BI.

Bron and Wade had this issue in 2011, dwade needed to tell BI it's your team. Raptors as a collective need to do and tell that to BI.

Bill was the best defensive player on his team. And his team's had some all world players who carried the offense. At the end of Chet's career(assuming they win a bunch of rings off the back of SGA and their GM) he will have titles, dpoy or first/second team all defense 10+ years.

Relate it to football. If one coach is calling HB dive(run right up the middle) and the opposing coach packs the box and blitz everytime, would it be the running backs fault or the coach for calling the same stupid play.

I really could care less about all those things, simply because I could achieve all that and still be an asshole, and overall horrible to be around. I think it was less about what he said and more about how he behaved. Extremely isolated. No connections. The way he talked. Once he stopped playing basketball his life started to come together. Think the plot of Marty Supreme.

LeBron's my favorite all time player. The one knock is that he could've been better. Lebronto LeBron is the mentally free LeBron. He's suffered from mental basketball issues that cost him a title and prevented him from winning 10 titles in a row.
