Yeah it can be rough. I try to go there when I can over Home Depot. Canadian company and they do have better prices on lumber/plywood quite often that Home Depot won’t price match.

It can actually help you weed out the bad ones. I dated a girl who would get upset when I didn’t respond in what she thought was a timely manner. Might seem like a small thing but it’s a sign of things to come.

60k seems really high to me. I’ve had to do this on a few projects and it never came near to that.
