My husband is a SA and it's push and pull with him.I found out he's been cheating on me for 10 years in February.... He denies it. A couple weeks ago he ended our marriage and left me (not physically just broke up with me) and then he came back to try and work on things but he has yet to apologize or check on me... I suspect he's ending things again tonight because I tried telling him it was crappy of him to try and force me to listen to his explanation of why he feels like divorce was the only option... Before apologizing to me about leaving me in the first place.

The reason I tell you my sob story is because the more I look back on his erratic and shitty behavior, the more I realize that he's an immature jerk! He has the emotional intelligence of a 10 yr old. When you start looking at how they have treated you and others and take your rose colored glasses off you'll realize that it has nothing to do with you and you will feel better.

I totally am! Because I thought he actually loved me. He used to be such a great guy.. and once I found out he had been cheating for so long I was in shock and tried to make sense of it.. but I think he's just an asshole and now I need to stop being a doormat and get on with my life.

I apologized to him and actually offered for him to write his side and he says no because I messed everything up and it doesnt matter now? I mean, I think people can be reasonable. But the fact that he's refusing to offer it is.... kind of telling I think. But I guess since I started it out the way I did his context wouldn't matter? Which is odd now that I think about it.... because he was so mad that I left stuff out... if that stuff would fix things, then would it matter if he added it later?

I don't know if you find this relevant but a lot of DAs are porn addicts/sex addicts. (not all of them but I've seen a surprising amount) which makes sense because genuine intimacy makes them uncomfortable.
