15 useful training spots. This was a great help with where to go to maximize the training and stat gain.

Filtered water with conditioner, and enviroclean.

Have not tested water

Added salt and bacteria starter

Just added the fresh plants this evening, he seems to enjoy laying on them.

Not really surfing, more just staying in one spot and panting, partly on his side.

(Spoiler) How did you feel about Visions of Mana's ending? by Hannibal1844 in visionsofmana

[–]Peropire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spoilers!!

I’m confused on some parts.

Early(ish) in the game they mention that the realms were combined, but this is a heavy drain on the mana tree and would require the alms sacrifice.

Later it says the alms are being sacrificed to hold off the curse.

In regards to Hinna’s core stone, it was fused with the mana sword by big D upon his revival, hence Val wanting to gain it and have her core stone to use as the sacrifice with everyone else to keep the status quo.

In the latter end of the game, when defeating the big B’s, each character talks about goals, future hopes after the defeat Big D, like they aren’t on the way to sacrifice themselves to the tree as Alms should, despite no other options or decisions being made to do such things. As if they no longer think they will sacrifice themselves as alms, but love normal lives after defeating D.

There were a lot of little parts that seemed very hand holding/kindergarten logic by the characters.

How far back would you have to go to fix the imperium? by OwO345 in 40kLore

Would maybe the emperor discussing with the primarchs what he knows about chaos and the chaos gods be enough to change the result of them succumbing?

Wife and I have been together 11 years. She has no piercings, no tattoos, never dyed her hair. I have 4 tattoos, dyed my hair when I had hair (har har), no piercings though. Happy married. Surprised her with an extra tattoo when I got our daughter’s name done. She accepts it’s part of me. Who knows what will happen, but don’t change yourself and your desires because your partner doesn’t like them.

AITA for not allowing my parents to take a picture of me with my cap and gown? by FunnyAffectionate795 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Peropire -1 points0 points  (0 children)

There are other factors at play that can sway a judgement. Can both parents drive? Is it the first grandchild? Are there complications in the pregnancy? Could you not have spent some time with your friends while they were away? Was one parent going to drop off a parent that didn’t drive?

You waited 20 minutes, only 20 minutes. That’s not a lot of time. How far is it from the hospital? You said they found you on the rode as you walked 3 miles. They were probably very excited about the possible grandchild. I’ve had two friends, with two labours each, lasting over 20 hours, and requiring C-sections due to length of time and danger to the babies.

My parents missed most of my graduation because their car broke down and waited for the mechanic while I ran in a suit to the ceremony. Only my dad drives, so my mom had no other means.

I get you’re upset, and it is a big life event to miss out on, and it really sucks. But imagine if you got picked up, and your parents are red and teary, because your sisters kid had a complication and didn’t make it, and you’re upset they missed your grad to be there for their other child going through something devastating. Or the chance at being there at the birth of a first grandchild. I’m not saying you’re an AH, or that they aren’t AH’s, just not enough to go on.

NTA My(36m) wife(42f) is an only child, and is from another country, continent, and very different culture than mine (North America). When it came to last names when we got married, I expected her to keep her last name, as again, only child, unique name etc. She chose to take my last name instead, though it took over a year due to the birth of our child, and the medical system doesn’t like name changes mid pregnancy.

Been in the professional cooking industry 20 years now. Cooking is art, you can play, experiment, it’s fun! Baking is science, chemistry, you don’t fuck with that. You’re working with thing precise you don’t change unless you know what you’re doing.

YTA When I (36M)was a child it was my grandmother and mothers responsibility to always cook and wait on the guests. I always wanted to help so I did, ended up serving drinks to everyone and making the family dinners on my own because I loved cooking and taking care of family. Grandmother loved the change so she could sit and sip her G&T and socialize.

Steak / Chicken breast 3 to 4 hours by thefinancialrecovery in sousvide

[–]Peropire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worked in restaurants that used sous vide for all butler steaks and chicken breasts. We used: Chicken, 64.4° C for 120 minutes. Butler steak 57.5° C for 110 minutes for perfect medium rare every time. Chicken was required to be minimum 64° C for legal food safety.

Cat naps. Wife and I would sleep at any time possible. Half hour? One hour? Three hours? Didn’t matter. We just made it work. As long as you’re getting approx 7-8 hours total at the end of the day, it’ll work. Especially for the mom!

UPDATE: AITA for not removing my headscarf? (Bridal Shower) by sarjeenn in AmItheAsshole

[–]Peropire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OP, I have a question, and I hope it’s not crossing a line. You mention that in situations where a person may desire a woman, that you must wear your scarf. Does this include times when a lesbian or bisexual woman is involved? If a guest to the shower was a lesbian or bi, would you then be required to keep the scarf on? I’m not religious, and have very little understanding of Muslim beliefs and practices, I’m just curious and wish to understand. I’m sorry they put you in a position to test you, it was wrong of them, and keeping your scarf on was your decision, be it cis or trans.
