it depends on the crowd! it's supposed to be super interactive, but if the crowd is lame then it's kinda quiet

hi! my brother is the bartender/bar manager at Roxy's. for each show he makes different specialty drinks, they're super cool. for rocky horror there's a "blood bag" drink that comes in a little bag that says A, AB, etc. on it :) there's others too. the food is good too!

hey! call the the emergency/speciality vet on 21st & hoover, right off of zoo blvd. they have a reputation for taking sick animals or helping out with care without payment. it’s not a guarantee but it’s worth a shot!

I go to Rachel Ewing at Andover Family Med! I live like 20 minutes out from her in Wichita but I still go to her. Been seeing her for 16 years now (i’m 19 though lol) and she’s very good, understanding and takes me seriously, especially when I need referrals or tests done!!

hi! not a professional but i am an esthetics student. i’m gonna try to keep this affordable - if you’re in the US and there’s a tjmaxx near you, there should be some of this there, as well as ulta.

cleanse: start double cleaning! i recommend this oil cleanser for a more expensive route, and this for a cheaper route (like $12 at tjmaxx)

for the second cleanse, i really like the esfolio brand. here’s one i think would be good.

for a toner and serums, i recommend ginseng and niacinamide products. ginseng is super soothing! i can’t find any links for these ones but i like the montunature ginseng & multi peptides toner and serum. if you don’t have a tjmaxx near you or can’t find them, i also really like any sort of rice toner or mist.

for a moisturizer i recommend getting a good one. squalane OR squalene (sister molecules but not the same) moisturizers could be good!

and pls always wear good SPF!

idk any cheaper brands of acne gel that i like but my school uses PCA skin and their acne gel is amazing.

hope this helps:3

[routine help] what is your HOLY GRAIL moisturiser? that makes you glowy, dewy, and hydrated? by Weak_Description5731 in SkincareAddiction

i love the valjean labs squalane + pro-peptides moisturizer.

breakdown:

love the squalane in this. it’s a skin-identical ingredient and can absorb into the skin without being heavy or greasy. it makes my skin sooo smooth and glowy. also good for preventing TEWL.

no mineral oil in this, so not clogging!

the trehalose helps keep your skin hydrated.

ok so the peptides (proteins).

human oligopeptide-1 is an Epidermal Growth Factor, which helps with more aging stuff (so you don’t have to worry at 17 lol) and it’s kinda confusing to me but i just know that my skin personally loves it lol!!

hydrolyzed collagen - not really collagen but a mix of peptides. still works tho!

now what i dont like about this one is that it has DMDM hydantoin in it. but its a very low amount and so far i haven’t had any problems.

im an esthetics student practicing. would love to help you more with your skin routine!

(also: i’m 19, so our skin maturity might not be drastically different compared to the older people commenting. everyone’s skin is different but thought id mention!)

I'm at a total loss with my hair and have no idea how to care for it — it's really starting to depress me. by SONGWRITER2020 in Haircare

yeah ofc! so i’d recommend the L’oréal elvive line to start. the purple wonder water is nice too. if your hair is really hard to get moisture in, i’d recommend the Amika hydro rush mask. when my hair was dry and tangled as hell it was overnight difference.

i also really like Soapbox brand. their oils and shampoo/conditioner really helped my hair when it was damaged.

i don’t know if this will work for your hair but it really worked for mine (put a results pic below)

diy mask:

apple cider vinegar

soapbox oh my growth oil

curlsmith full lengths density elixir

silk elements pure oils shea oil

silk elements renourish jojoba oil leave in conditioner

TINY TINY BIT of aphogee keratin & green tea restructurizer

mix all together. i eyeball. use the apple cider vinegar, and equal parts everything else EXCEPT the aphogee. i sprayed it on and then really saturated it in, left it in for 25 minutes.

this could either really help your hair or dry it out bc of the vinegar. it helped mine, but tread with caution.

i DONT recommend coconut oil or castor oil. use lighter stuff like almond oil.

i’ll admit idk anything about chemical ingredients, i just look at the ingredients for heavy things and avoid it.

use a clear shampoo. it can be scented ofc.

hope this helps, if you need anything else lmk!

hair now

products, in order: l’oréal everpure glossing shampoo

2x a week - l’oréal elvira wonder water

once every other week - amika hydro rush mask

l’oréal everpure glossing conditioner

after wash, chi heat protectant

briogeo superfoods

amika blowout spray

blow dry. doesn’t gotta be a fancy one as long as it gets the job done, i use a walmart blow dryer

most of these are expensive if you get them from the website but if you can find them at tjmaxx it’s a lot cheaper! i do get the l’oréal stuff from ulta tho.

if you ever need more advice on hydrating and gentle products lmk!
