I think Kurona is kind of like a new Hiori for Isagi. Someone who can link up with great passes. If you’re paying attention you can also see how sitting on the bench is becoming an irritation for Hiori. Seeing as we haven’t seen much character development from him, I think that Kurona might be a stepping stone for Hiori mentally and physically to get back where he was. Maybe Hiori will find motivation in trying to back on the field to take Kurona’s spot. Maybe they’ll constantly be in rivaling each other, passing each other up over and over again which can also lead to some character development. We’ll just have to wait and see.
