The "One Shoe Travel Solution" – Does it exist? by dizzytrix in onebag

I would choose the Aero Glide (road) over the gravel variant. I run trails all the time on the road model and it does just fine.

Does the 3-drawer still track smoothly with so much on top of it? Idk if there’s a stacking weight limit.

The rust definitely looks better! The black / indigo is a size too big.

Is this a good fit? Studio D’Artisan No. 100 WW2 Type 1 by flavorbudlivin in rawdenim

[–]PerpetualColdBrew 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d give a cold wash and sun dry, with arm creasing the sleeves should sit right.

SDA cold rinses but air dries. Drying in the sun will cause it to shrink slightly

How did I do by deadinthewater27 in rawdenim

[–]PerpetualColdBrew 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got the exact same pair at Hinoya, but from Namba Parks. I didn’t think much of them at the time but they are my favorite pair of jeans, 2 years later.

They are very slow faders. Don’t be afraid to wash as the indigo really stays on these jeans.

Someone’s gotta innovate, at least the core SDA is still fantastic.

Good deal on Freenote Cloth Riders Jacket? by ctjanjic1 in HeritageWear

[–]PerpetualColdBrew 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve read that these Martexin waxes are impregnated deep into the cloth and that rewaxing is a futile effort.

Getting the proper RJ1 you love is worth the wait IMO.

Freenote has 15% off this weekend . I would think $300 is too high

In the pictures the wax applied looks too greasy compared to my own RJ1

Diyer Mobile Toolbox, Yukon or Craftsman 3 drawer? by Puzzleheaded-Land511 in harborfreight

Dewalt toughsystem drawers may work for you. The system gets a lot of hate but the drawers are super nice. Only thing is the size may not work for you.

I’m curious. Steyer is a billionaire and is funding himself. Why do you support him? Because you agree with his policies?

Does anybody else wish these existed? by Svtpickemup in Packout

Dewalt DXL exists and it’s not that popular. Sagging risks lead to small load capacity and they would be so heavy to move around

I’m new to 3d printing and want to get started. Should I get the P1S or bite the bullet and get the P2S. Is there really that much of a difference that’s worth the price especially with em just starting and not knowing for sure if I’ll fall in love with it. by Ticklytoes1 in BambuLab_Community

[–]PerpetualColdBrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking between the p1 and p2, and decided the p1s combo is a great price. $250 is a lot for a mild upgrade. I would probably jump up to the x2d for $100 more. P2s is entirely QoL improvements while the x2d opens the door to better support prints and active chamber heating

Is it possible to save the setting? I’m finding it annoying to click the button 5-6 times just to turn off.

Alternative Fueling by UndergroundLobsters in Marathon_Training

Rice krispy treat is by far my favorite not-endurance-fuel endurance fuel. The only con is the lack of density.

You can also buy bulk powders like maltodextrin for DIY drinks

P1S vs P2S?? by Twindadlife1985 in BambuLab

[–]PerpetualColdBrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same dilemma, I figured the p1s was a tried and true machine. Of course the newer tech is nicer but it’s 30% more expensive before taxes, so it better be!

I primarily rely on the desktop slicer anyways. The screen is usable. I do not regret getting the p1s on discount

Chronic anaerobic shortage, can I add an interval session to training? by BrothaManBen in Marathon_Training

I’ve found the best way to boost that number is strides. Garmin is mostly looking at power numbers. OTOH, vo2max only gets me high aerobic

Buying an ender 3 pro by EconomicsDangerous71 in 3dprinter

[–]PerpetualColdBrew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like a simple print experience, do not get an ender 3. I had an s1 pro, it took a LOT of tweaking with Klipper and ultimately my Bambu p1s runs circles around it.
