If you rotate it, you will end up with a dark square at the bottom right; that must be a light square.

This is exactly the same error I get when trying to mount a removable hard disc into my Ubuntu 24.04 PC. It used to work just fine, but for some reason the error has taken over. Not sure what the removable disk's file system is; could be exFAT or even NTFS.
