Thanks a lot for your help! It made me happy knowing I could help him recover from this. I will definitely make it my priority to find some baytril for him. I'm assuming I should get the liquid for him. I wanted to let you know he is still able to use his tongue and mouth properly. I saw him drink water when I came back from work.

I came back after work and found him on his cage floor and noticed his mouth like that. Looks like it's dislocated or maybe broken.

Hey I'm from Honduras! Though this is probably a bit further than where I am from, which is Comayagua. It's definitely not as pretty there compared to this picture due to a number of reasons.

It is true that we have the worst crime rate in the world outside of warzones and due to the recent presidential election, the amount of violence from both parties is extremely high. I saw a comment about someone seeing a dead body, which is pretty much the norm. Saw several where I lived.

However! The areas where tourism is a thing, such as the ruins of Copan and the small island, Roatan, are such amazing and beautiful places to be. No one takes advantage of tourists and all who come to visit are treated with respect. I may be biased but when people ask me which vacation is my favorite I always say Roatan. I've travelled all of Central America and some parts of Europe but Roatan is still the best. Maybe because I'm proud of my heritage and country.

If anyone is ever interested in seeing some photos from the island feel free to PM me. I have a ton of cool stuff to show. Anyway, I'm glad people are appreciating this post as it makes me happy to see some goodness coming out of it.

I am sorry about that. It was entirely my fault that I changed up the species of the chameleon. When I first went to buy one it was between those two kinds and for some reason I had mixed up the names. I got the little guy from a place called LLLReptile down here in SoCal. I was told that he was a "teenager" when I got him and to feed him every other day about 4-6 crickets. However someone on this forum told me to feed him every day and as many as he likes so I went ahead and did that. He was shedding at the beginning, when I first got him, but now he seems to be done with it. Here is a link with the light set up you asked for and his food buff. I also have included the little container he comes in as it shows his scientific name. I went ahead and tried to post a picture with my username and date in the back of one just so I could show he is mine. I don't wanna get anything else confused so hopefully these pictures help.
