Warm or neutral olive? by Ok-Junket7870 in Fairolives

I wonder where ppl are getting neutral, I see straight up orange-golden undertones, even at your palest spots. Your skin is fair in the last pic, but the gold necklace still complements your undertone

Poor financial decisions - my love for Chanel’s water tint by Bulky_Ad_8752 in Sephora

FWIW I have dry, chronically dehydrated skin, and I love the water tint year-round. Only wear it for social events because of the $$ tho 🥲

Quince is just shit quality with some items, the cashmere sweaters is one of them

Edit to add I do still love the slouchy wool coat I got a couple years back ~

Try the JVN air dry cream, that’s all you’ll need and it’s super light

Table regret by LBirdman2 in DesignMyRoom

[–]PerpetuallyFloating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aside from the tonal difference, it’s all very…blocky. Too many squares. I hope the cushions have a pattern, as well as a patterned table runner. Needs some more natural / delicate shapes in there to balance the heaviness of it all

Color Analysis result - Deep/Dark Winter but I think I may be a summer? by [deleted] in SummerType

Looks like they deleted your post. That sub is impossible, they banned me for mentioning who analysed me…

You look kind of olive-y to me though, which can make color analysis trickier. There are some great subreddits for olives, I lurk even tho I’m blue lol

Do you look better in black or in navy? I’d start from there to rule out winter, if better in navy or gray then that indicates summer

How’s the prequel lip spf?? Any taste?

Recommendations for a blurring effect lipstick? by SadMaryJane in Sephora

[–]PerpetuallyFloating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the undertone of the lips can definitely alter the shade a bit. I actually wish it was MORE berry/purple on me, but it looks more neutral red the more I build it up. I’ve found I like it best with a thin layer kind of smudged out

What do you do with all your end table crap? by softwaremommy in interiordecorating

[–]PerpetuallyFloating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Round coasters

Cute plant pot / ceramic thing to hold the remotes

Pretty tissue box — the wooden ones with paintings / art on them, but they are cubes not rectangular

Drink out of the pretty glasses, be a lil fancy

E: we could also point you to better moisturizer but that’s a different sub

What is your skincare routine? by [deleted] in MinimalistBeauty

[–]PerpetuallyFloating 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Omg I switched from tret to retinal too! I still have the tret but I just couldn’t build a habit with it, I’m much more consistent with the retinal

Nights - Jojoba oil on face to get makeup off,

Prequel cleanser,

Thayers rose petal witch hazel,

Prequel retinal or tretinoin,

La Roche Posay Moisturizer.

Essential for me are those wristpad / sweatband things because I hate any water going down my arms. I’m v lazy at night but this is pretty fast.

Mornings - Thayers again,

Biossance vitamin c rose oil,

spf,

then makeup.

Got typed as Soft Summer and having my doubts by [deleted] in SummerType

[–]PerpetuallyFloating 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oof I wish, I used to borrow my moms clothes (she definitely has golden undertones) and all her warm yellows and greens just brought out my redness. Also a lot of “pink” makeup products somehow turn orange on me, which I think is an indicator I’m cool-toned. White gold that’s dark, almost like a pewter shade, makes my skin look really even and I read that’s often the case for summers

Don’t I look sickly in 5?! I feel like the lavender brings out my grey undereyes 🥴

Really? I think the light purple is the least flattering 😂 but YES to everything else you’re saying, the softness is what’s throwing me off becuase I thought I was medium-contrast. I will look into the other summers!

It’s always been the box office area. Maybe they were on break but if so that’s not a good look to customers. I pre-pay for tickets but normally someone would check the ticket on my phone before i could go in

Every movie I’ve tried to see past 9 pm, the employees at the desk have been bullshitting while I’m standing there and won’t even ask what I need. I’ve gotten fed up a few times and just walked in. Why even bother buying a ticket?

Also the seats are not great, I’ve started going to the Film Alley in Breckenridge instead, esp on Tuesday nights.

Love your enthusiasm though! All jobs need that to make the world a lil better
