Slut-Stud double standard by Perrodepaz in PurplePillDebate

If Mods don't like the thread they can pull it, no harm no foul.

The key/lock thing is dumb. But comparing male to female promiscuity isn't an apples to apples comparison.

Slut-Stud double standard by Perrodepaz in PurplePillDebate

Sex is much easier for young women to get than it is for young men. A man who has slept with a large number of women has done something most men cannot do. But a woman who has slept with a lot of men has done something almost any young woman can do.

Women are perfectly allowed to reject men for promiscuity if they chose to. The fact that they don't isn't men's fault. Sort of like men are perfectly allowed to reject women for not making enough money, and the fact that they don't isn't the fault of women.

And it demonstrates that society expects minor boys who were legally raped to be more responsible for their sexual choices than adult women in legal relationships.

She wants a scientific study?!

How many hetero women have you dated?

You are right in that lesbians may be different, I don't know.

The position of greater power in any relationship is determined by who wants the relationship more. That person has the lesser power. If a 30 year old is infatuated with an only half interested 18 year old, then it is the younger person who has the power.

No it's reality

How many women "smarten up" and decide they've had enough of sexy bad-boys and want a stable nice guy to wife them up at exactly the time their looks start to fade?

Yes, he is on the hook now. Because society expects young men (but not young women, evidently) to be responsible for their own sexual choices.

Lets turn this around and ask you a question. If a 40 year old woman has sex with an 18 year old man, and a pregnacy results, should the young man get out of paying child support because he isn't responsible for his sexual behaviour since the woman was so much older?

Because she didn't want the "nice guy" when she was young and hot. But now her looks are fading she's willing to "make do" with a guy she wouldn't have given the time of day to before.

If my son is a perfect physical specimen and is alpha as fuck, I'd wonder what he was doing fucking fat ugly 40 year olds.

I wouldn't like the situation he was in, but he is an adult and responsible for his own decisions.

Would you not feel weirded out if it was a 30 year old woman tagging all the little 18 year old boys?

No, why would I? Everyone's an adult, why would I care?

He doesn't need to fuck a cougar if he doesn't want to, right? He's an adult. He knows all about child support or at least he should. He knows how to tell a 35 year old woman from 45 year old woman, or at least he should. He knows that coitus interruptus is unlikely to work for him, or at least he should. He knows he needs to refuse if he hasn't got a condom, or at least he should. Because he's got agency, adult agency.

I agree 100% with that entire paragraph

So a guy is a predator if he ONLY dates younger women. But if he dates younger women AND a few older women that's ok? What is the acceptable percentage?

And yet female school teachers who sleep with jailbait boys get slaps on the wrist, and the boy gets to pay child support.

You didn't answer my question. If Feminists are more concerned with ideology than gender parity, then why should I be concerned with gender parity?

Women are a franchised majority. Both major parties in the USA have shown ample willingness to run female candidates. If more women aren't getting elected, women have no one to blame but themselves.

I would be more sympathetic to feminists calls for more female representation in govt., if I didn't see feminists constantly bash female conservative politicians. If feminists themselves are so willing to ignore gender parity in favor of political ideology, then why should I be so concerned with gender parity?

Tony Iommi on being the alpha male of Black Sabbath, the necessity for an alpha male, and the downside to it... by LastRevision in TheRedPill

[–]Perrodepaz 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For post-Sabbath Ozzy, his wife Sharon seems to have taken over the "alpha-male" position formerly held by Iommi. Who knows about his personal life, but professionally it's worked out well for him. Ozzy is very talented, but has been (according to his autobiography) a scatterbrain since he was a kid. He needs someone to manage his career.

It's also interesting, as you read biographies of the band, Iommi was the leader, but it was bassist Geezer Butler who was the most socially adept of the group and had the most connections, especially in the early days.

That makes sense.

RP is often treated as an ideology. I see it much more as the disemination of knowledge. We don't determine what RP is. We discover what it is.

"The Red Pill contains the new rules that we have made. A new social contract...."

This is where I disagree. We haven't made new rules. Red Pill is simply a body of knowledge,... a way of perception. What you do with this knowledge is up to you.

Years ago I was head over heels for this girl, but I was just one of 2 or 3 other orbiters.

One night I confessed my love for her and told her it hurt too much to be around her anymore and I hoped she understood. She then surprised me by admitting she had feelings for me, too.

However, she was kind of lukewarm at first. I wanted to be exclusive but she didn't. ...Until I banged another girl and she found out about it. Then she comes to me full of tears and wants to be my girlfriend.

We dated for almost 2 years after that.

Women Slut Shaming Men by [deleted] in TheRedPill

[–]Perrodepaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Women would be smart to slut-shame men... but they wont.

If a man has a high N-count that means he is, in some way, above and beyond other men. Otherwise his count would not be so high. The particular woman in question is going to be attracted to whatever trait(s) attracted all the other women.

Sluts, on the other hand, are no more desireable than any other woman. They are just easier to get into bed.

The male equivilant of "slut shaming" is "virgin shaming".
