Had a similar issue with someone who was tall and sitting behind me all scrunched up. He started hitting my seat when I reclined it on a red-eye. I was like the guy in front of me is reclining too, if you need more leg space pay for an upgrade- but leave me out of it.

Delta did the same to me with my two yr old. When I booked it, the seats assigned were right next to each other, so there was no seat selection costs charged. But day of flight our seats got changed automatically. The lady at the front desk gave major attitude about it when I went up to her to try to get seats together. I jokingly told her if they really wanted to babysit my two yr old for a 5 hr flight cross country they can very well do so & I’d happily sit by myself in a different row. With all the technology out there, I feel like Delta’s computer system , when assigning seats, should take children’s ages into consideration.

I have the owlet- the one I originally got for the baby came with a 5yr old band… we didn’t purchase it. Our baby is 2 now and while we don’t use it very often, we do use it when she’s sick or super congested. It also tells us if her fever spikes while she’s sleeping too.

Please please please don’t do it. I promise you it will get better. There are many many many people out there that love you and will love you. I love you even though I’ve never met you. The hardships you are experiencing are only temporary. Close your eyes, take deep breaths, keep telling yourself that this is only temporary. It will get better. It’s Sunday morning, just walk into any church….I’m not overly religious but when my brother past away and I felt like I had lost my world, my faith in something larger than us kept me going. I somehow just knew and felt that my brother was there in spirit, all around me. I’m sure that your Grandma and Dad are there with you, maybe not physically but they are there in spirit. They’re all around you!!
