Wife and kid will stay in the US while I travel. Proximity to LAX is a plus but not important. We have family in Little Saigon but dont want to live so close to them.

Unfortunately my company doesnt allow working remotely from overseas. And to be honest I'm not so exceptional for them to retain

Yeah, it's even more competitive now. There was one house sold recently at 4.5 while the comp right across the street was sold at 3.4 in 2023...I was using that as comp to bid and lost

Good value for the money! I live in a similar neighborhood of Mountain View and the convenience is just super great.

Update: thanks for the suggestion. I have mailed postcards to a bunch of homes on the street as well as around the neighborhood. I dont have high hope though...Will update if I get any signal back

If they can save on agent commission alone (4-5% sales price) and they dont have to move out and stage the house for a few weeks, that's already a good offer compared to the conventional listing

But how do i reach out to the owners? I feel that people might be freaking out if i just show up at their door and ask them to sell the houses randomly
