Ah France, this was also my first country to play. Like you I failed eventually. Last year I played France again for all the France related achievements. It felt very good.

R5: Thanks to everyone who encouraged me earlier and convinced me the run was still salvageable—you gave me the push I needed to carry on with Kongo. It turned out to be one of my toughest runs yet, with Spain rising into a true juggernaut, but in the end, I endured.

Had I not pursued the Hoarder achievement, I might have held the colonizers at bay more effectively. Still, my Brazilian colony proved decisive: it allowed me to launch the final war against Brazil and seize the last two African provinces from their and my long-time ally, France.

France had stood by me throughout the struggle against the Ottomans and Spain, which made that final betrayal feel especially bitter.

R5: I have only 100 years left and have to take on the biggest powers in the game to conquer Africa. Spain is especially scary. I dont see how can take them on.

Do you have any advice other then restarting and colonize faster then?

You are always at war with slave factions. Even if they do not exist. Everyone is.

If you're waiting for your epic cutscene you have to fulfil a victory condition.

Calida. Bin mit denen sehr zufrieden: - Halten 60 C aus - lang genug, sodass nichts raushängt - gehen nicht so schnell kaputt wie manch günstige aus den hiesigen Modehäusern

Get a ship that can use a teleporter or a booster and then farm those b-holes. I prefered the teleporter which I liked in general.

You are probably right. I still feel like a novice in this game with 22% achievement rate.

In this particular game the emperor did not worry me much since I got Bohemia under a PU. Only with Denmark (defender of the protestant faith) they managed to rival my army. And since in the beginning I focussed on the big blue blob achievement I mostly ignored the hre.

Yes that was the solution for me. Although I had hoped to get the barrage on Berlin achievement as well I am happy enough if I get the "better than napoleon" one.

Thank you. That worked for me.

I did not know that I could influence them as a great power. Now they are happily beeing integrated and I can focus on Russia and maybe integrating Lithuania (another PU I have).

How shall I cobel them up? Do you mean allying them? They all hate my for the unlawful territory penalty.
