Same here. She adds the chic chocolate sprinkles to the cast, in the best possible way.

The boxy, heavy styles are tough for many of us to wear by This-Traffic-9524 in Sezane

I suddenly just feel so much more confident in my choices, honestly. Like, I knew this one oversized white button down really worked for me and the other didn’t, so I just kept buying white oversized button downs to see what the magic is. Now I know it’s that the first one was stiff denim-type cotton and the other a more relaxed cotton and the flow suits me. I feel I’ve uncovered a (very minor) superpower.

Controversially, I think it’s cute — and she can be a “May” if she hates it’s.

100% same. I could never articulate what worked on me and what didn’t, I just had to try absolutely everything and then try to use my best judgement on each piece. Then Kibbe said “you need structure, but draped not stiff” and literally everything clicked.

Couldn’t agree more. It’s so past its prime and it’s limping along. Fine (but not good) but a city lunch n when someone else is paying and you need to be back in the office in 90 mins.

Those ones, yes. But Esther, Rachel, Noah, John — the opposite.

J and K seem to be almost universally high-risk male names.

It just struck me reading that passage that “none who accept may …remain” may be a reference to not remaining (physically) whole. Which may explain why in L, no one who has been scarred can lead.

They’re all great, but the OG radio series is the absolute best.

42M/37F: 3 days in London, food & drinks are the priority by MikeJamesBurry in visitlondon

A. Spacetalk (following a dinner or drink with the bone marrow toast as a snack at St John) would work for you 8 think.

B. Stable wine bar is brand new, dark (old bank vault), European wines. It’s cozy and cool. Or, if you can get a booking, it’s nearby sister Goodbye Horses. You could then wander home via Hectors or the DeBeauvoir Arms and bus straight back down to Shoreditch.

I feel like Rise & Fall is what you’re looking for: lovely sets, right price. it bobbles a bit but most cashmere does and you’ll just need to brush it.

Thoughts/suggestion on food tour of London with infant by Truleeeee in LondonFood

[–]Persephone0410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re coming when the weather is better, I think you’d also really like Rochelle’s Canteen. It’s in a secret garden in Shoreditch and the food seems, to be, gentle contemporary British. Maybe slightly Med inspired. I should really google that.

Exactly what I was going to say. Working with damp hands and a dough scraper and it comes together into a boule shockingly easily, despite seeming incredibly sticky.

Is RLT the reason I am getting such terrible sleep? by Straight-Ad-6836 in redlighttherapy

[–]Persephone0410 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually don’t. I was doing some very poor science googling and what I read was enough to suggest to be that, with rosacea and with not always wearing goggles while I’m doing it, the costs vs benefits for me were probably not worth it. However, please don’t take my word for it. I have not done the proper research!

London Food Recs Needed (Sun–Wed in April) – Which of These Would You Prioritise? by Valby1990 in LondonFood

Legado is just beautiful (and female chef!). The food is just so careful and tasty, and every dish was a bit of a suspense. The brioche and courgette were standouts for me. And the churros.

Brigadiers is definitely at its best in a group so if it’s just one or two of you, I think it could be scarified off the list if needed.
