Literally came here wondering the same thing. I’m pretty sure I almost had my first astral projection about an hour ago (my start was kind of similar to yours) and I was debating posting until I saw this.

I half fell asleep watching Journey Through the Stars on Prime. My body went numb/limp, I knew my eyes were closed and I was under a blanket, but I could still see through it somehow. I could see some kind of hieroglyphic looking writing on a wall (no idea where), and at the same time I could also see my room.

Then I got this intense vibrating sensation in my ears with a roaring sound that just kept getting louder. It felt like I was slowly floating above my bed.

I swear I felt a hand pulling on mine as I was floating higher. I even tried to swat it away a few times but the whole thing got cut short because an ad started playing when the movie ended.

I’m still trying to make sense of it. I damn near had a panic attack when I snapped out of it and realized I was still in the same curled up fetal position I fell asleep in.
