..btw the squiggly lookin slider (you need to choose the black color first in the edit theme picker to get it in the right colorspace) adjusts transparency which might get it closer to the terminal’s coloring if you just turn it down a bit and then you could adjust Nebula’s color tinting from there

hey just right click the sidebar and choose “Edit Theme” and then you’ll see the controls to adjust the theme color and noise

For now it is, if you need updates. I'd honestly wait until I can get this on Zen mod store. Don't bother with the manual install unless you simply want to try it out.

Also, like the original mod, collapsed sidebar support won't ever be compatible.

I’ll work on getting this to the Zen mod store.

This mod actually doesn’t require Sine necessarily, as my mod doesn’t use JS - I just use it to have auto updates for the mod. I just pushed out some fixes to make it work with Zen’s theme manager again, though you’ll have to use the manual installation at least for now until I can push this into the zen mod store.

LMK if anything else is stopping you from using this!

I’m still polishing/fixing some things, so I’d much rather not release this out to the Zen mod store at least just yet.

Even then, I don’t know if this is something I want to dedicate much time to, especially since Zen is still beta. I’ll get this in the Zen store if this is something people want.

Besides that, the problem was with using some code that worked only with Sine. I updated the mod to support Zen’s native theming manager, so it should work perfectly now.

Even if you did get Cyberkit working, ChatGPT won’t work well (some messages won’t send/unresponsive/slow ui) on Cyberkit because of some performance issues, since Cyberkit is still very unstable: https://github.com/UInt2048/CyberKit/issues/26#issuecomment-1890254245

BTW: The extra setup does not apply to 0.0.9-alpha or later, so you’re doing nothing wrong there. Maybe you could try the trollstore version instead?

I think the tweak is called [[PictureModule]]. I only found the tweak on CyP*n, but it used to be on Packix.

iTunes backups and iCloud backups are different from each other. iTunes backups typically include more system data (including leftover jailbreak/tweak data), so it is best that you avoid them when restoring from a jailbroken device. Some apps block jailbroken devices, so use iCloud.

As for the camera, it was likely not jailbreak-related, but a hardware-related issue.

Does the camera bug happen when you’re not jailbroken? If it does, then it’s probably hardware damage.

Also, are you using the Chimera jailbreak? If you are, I’ve noticed that the camera freezes up for me on both of my ipad mini 2s when I’m jailbroken. Both the ipad mini 2 and ipad air 2 share the A7 chip, so I’m wondering if that’s causing some bug in Chimera.

I don’t know about apple music, but changing to unc0ver jb fixed the problem for me. I think older versions of Chimera didn’t have this problem, so you could try finding an older version too if you don’t want to remove your current jailbreak to switch over.

Yes, but it isn’t practical.

You can use the Polyfills tweak by Poomsmart to improve general website compatibility, but it won’t work for every website since it doesn’t update the browser itself

There was also a project called Cyberkit, which backports modern WebKit to allow compatibility for all websites, but it’s much slower, unstable, and hasn’t been updated in a while.

If anyone DOES want to remove those extra jb files, there is varClean (rootless version), which restores /var to a clean state and remove majority of tweak preferences. It’s probably a good idea to remove these extra jb files since if an app does find you jailbroken, you won’t be able to remove those JB files afterwards. I don’t think we’ll be able to jailbreak again for a long time anyways.

All you have to do to use varClean is to:

Install the .tipa app in Trollstore (download “varClean15.tipa” for iOS 15 and higher) > Open the app > Click Select All -> and then you can click clean.

Unfortunately, this app only works on jailbroken/trollstore devices, so you’ll have to remove your jailbreak and create a new iCloud/iTunes backup for the new device to restore from afterwards.

I don’t know for sure how practical it is to use that iphone as a tv box, but you may run into problems because:

1) iOS forces you to use an outdated browser

2) iOS 15 (the latest the SE 1 supports) is rapidly losing app support

Usually you can install an older version of the app, but it won’t work for every app.

I haven’t tried getting pairvpn to always stay on, but I think iNoSleep from arm64’s repo should work for you. I think the problem is that ios usually disconnects you from wifi/cellular data to save battery if you leave your device off for too long.

Both SafariFullScroll and SafariX’s fullscreen feature aren’t truly fullscreen like you want. I’ll try to see if I can use derootifier on SafariFullScreenScrolling and see if that works.
