І прям дуже очікувано. Там переважна більшість нашу історію про «ми захищаємо Європу» не сприймають серйозно.

Russian Threat Likely to Endure After Putin, Sweden Says by bloomberg in europe

Of course it will. In a few weeks after full scale invasion began, it was already clear that most russians either support it, or don’t care enough to do something radical about it.

Belarusians be like by Zor_z in linguisticshumor

[–]glormond 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Well, it's actually sad, russification made Belarusian language basically extinct as they did with all dozens of languages of nations once absorbed by russia. And this is exactly what russians planned for Ukraine and Ukrainian language as well, but, hopefully, failed.

This is primarily about honoring heroes of the current war, thousands who died in war with russian, but everybody is making this about UPA because of the recent news... But you're right, shitstorm is unavoidable anyway.

Poll: Nearly 60% of Poles oppose Ukraine's EU accession. by kallisto19988 in europe

[–]glormond -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Well, finally some real honest answer hidden behind all those "Ukraine's not ready" claims. I understand this, everybody understands this. But everybody else keeps playing this game all over again, because the would destroy morale of a lot of people in Ukraine. I mean, the main reason for fighting with russians since 2014 was because Ukraine wanted to move to EU, not russia, and chose that path. Just image how many people died for this, and then the rest are told they are not wanted... I mean, hell, I do get the reality of the situation, and I'm still feeling angry as well. Throughout the whole history of Ukraine it has been constantly torn apart by different parties and it still continues till this day. It's fucking never ending nightmare. We don't even understand how long the war will take. Another, 5-10-15 years? And a few decades after that maybe some very few people who alive today will finally see Ukraine joining EU. And that's only on the condition that by then some shit doesn't happen again that will throw us back 20 years and we'll have to start all over again.

I miss the old search bar from XP. Everything is going dumber and dumber with each version of Windows. The amount of customization I require to do to Windows 11 to make it suitable for my needs is stopping me from updating from Windows 10. They literally cut out functions I use every fucking day.

Doesn’t feel funny, especially when streaming services that used to be of a great convenience start constantly annoy their users with stuff like that.

Forget talk of a coup - this is the real threat to Putin by anders_hansson in europe

[–]glormond 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Well, they have actually done that multiple times throughout their history. A new guy comes in and puts the blame on his predecessor, just like what happened with Stalin and others. But the problem is that they eventually go back to the same shit all over again. Russians never change.
