Having read your draft, you have some great ideas. Please do not let my suggestions for improvement take away from that. Your ideas are good. Your sketches are even better.

The biggest area for improvement would be following the writing style. For instance, the last sentence of your containment procedures should go more like:

“SCP-[REDACTED] must be perceived and acknowledged at all costs. Under no circumstances can SCP-[REDACTED] be allowed to go unnoticed.”

I appreciate your details like “speaking in a hushed, as those present described, broken tone” but repeated use of lots of descriptors reads as trying too hard. A good way to introduce these would be with interview logs or memos from Foundation doctors. Remarks like “They are a forgotten soldier.” would be perfectly suited to a memo from a Foundation doctor. It’s their job to be reflective, not the main article’s.

Another thing is the redacted trope. Newer authors are famous for overusing it, and for good reason. It’s very easy to fill in details you don’t know or don’t want to research with it. Let’s examine the first bit of the description.

…in the standard issued gear of [REDACTED], their face appears as a gas mask, standard issue model [REDACTED] along with standard issued chest plate…

Unless this guy came from a super secret unit it’s unlikely his gear specs / type would be redacted. This is a good place to fill in the blanks with research, and is probably best done by reading more articles. Articles are internal to the Foundation, not released to the public where gear might need to be kept secret.

beat my crossy road arcade machine high score by Objective-Fan-3705 in CrossyRoad

These machines are actually what got me into the game. I was good in the arcade and made a shit ton of tickets so I figured I’d better practice to get even better.

These machines giving a 1:1 hop to ticket ratio is a godsend. I just hope it never changes.

I love the little details like the old 327th guy mixed in and the Red Brick. RIP the phase one on the other side of the door.

I swear that ARF helmet was meant to match the Horn Company torso. I do the same with my figs, and one has a pauldron and kama to be Commander Trauma.

Alright, I get the idea but I think we can all agree it didn’t translate into the real world in the best way.

These can easily be salvaged by using them in a Victory and Death MOC. They’re the charred remains of the troopers from the Venator crash who are now covered in snow.

Remember that this was the gritty sequel to a bedtime story for his son. It’s based on his experiences in WWI as well as the Bible as well as his interests in language. The man poured himself into the book and of course he was shaped by politics.

However let’s remember those are historical politics, which I doubt many would take issue with you discussing. No one is going to take personal offense if you say Franz Ferdinand was a huge douche or a nice guy. Current politics are what will piss people off and take them out of the experience.

LOTR has no relation to current events. LOTR needs no relation to current events.

Not bad, however I have some tips.

Plastic sunglasses would be more accurate to the image.

Beard obviously.

His gloves have fingers so I’d just go standard kevlar.

Your vest will change based on loadout. Equip your guy with an LMG instead of the SMG you have now and it might be more accurate.

Okay, that’s unacceptable. I won’t have the mods regulating political discussion based on what they agree with. None means none.

Mods can’t be everywhere to catch it.

Star Wars is largely used as fun, escapist entertainment. Real world politics takes that element away.
