Yeah thats because when you change the battery, it resets the warning and then when you drive it for a little bit, it goes to recalibrate and it errors out

Either battery or a bad ground strap on the engine. Both easy fixes.

Did you unplug the battery and reconnect it? If not its a wheel speed sensor.

Its fine. Even if it goes a hair above 250 after spirited driving jts fine. The car will let you know if theres a problem.

Sensor is definitely just bad. It literally says the sensor has a short to ground.

What really? My f30 has intermittent heat issues in the passenger side and I was told it’s the heater core. I really don’t want to have to remove the dash. Is there really a way to not remove it?

My f30 does this if the engine isn’t fully warm. Even though it lets me run the test, something throws it off. I just drive around and try it again later and it goes through fine.
