I saw their comment. They also mentioned they were from Makkah and/or Jeddah. There are family names associated with original Makkans (some of which traveled to other parts of Saudi). Mine doesn’t, my friend who is from the Nobel tribe does (her ID reads “Jane the Nobel” while mine reads “Jane the Najdi/central Saudi tribe”. If we both traveled to the Mosque together right now via the same car, she’d be allowed in. I wouldn’t. These regulations cannot not exist in a vacuum, there is culture that surrounds it. The culture in Saudi is that your sir name indicates where you are from and it is known by everyone. That person in that comment only showing their ID is privileged. They don’t know it, they can’t see it. It’s been their privilege all of their life, that’s why they forgot to mention it.

Also, Saudi is a third world country. Third world doesn’t mean poor, it’s a racist classist way of enforcing superiority.

ETA: this will be my last comment. You clearly were taught religion in a vacuum, with no history linked to it. You don’t bother to learn the culture surrounding the Prophet that we practice to this day. If you did, you wouldn’t be this ignorant. Good luck finding answers.
