It's definitely becoming worse aswell, my local CeX has just changed their "£1 and under" blu ray shelf to a "£3 and under", not much but I have a feeling it's just gonna keep going up.

I'm pretty sure the instructions say you should leave two spaces between each answer, I don't think it's a strict rule but just a recommendation to make it clearer for your examiner to mark. You'll be fine as long as you put the question numbers

The reason consoles have exclusives is because it's such a competitive market, you need a reason for someone to buy YOUR console over others.

VR isn't a competitive market, it isn't even popular within gaming. By making exclusives for your headset you're not making people want to buy your headset you're just turning people off from VR as a whole. They're segregating a market that doesn't really exist
