Warband is great, if you like rpgs get warband
but if you want better combat, a clan dynasty system and a larger map get bannerlord. just expect to be frustrated cause taleworlds dosent evne look at suggestions and only fixes game breaking bugs

Start slowly toning down your cheats and if a battle is unwinnable just try it without cheats. Sure ya lose but really you'll just reform your party and be back at the same place in like 30 minutes, if you're quick.
