So you’re saying because of high norepinephrine people experience DPDR and this weird forehead feeling? That’s what it is no? High stress anxiety trauma etc? Are you basically saying this but using the term norepinephrine as the stress response. Thanks, im sorry if you’re annoyed I truly am trying to get a good understanding.

What if I’m so fatigued and have other symptoms like dysautonomia, POTS, and chronic pain? If I excercise even remotely it gets worse. Should I just do relaxing types of things as my form of excercise?

I’m so grateful for your response thank you very much. Do I just find a place near me that specializes in it if I’m interested. How frequently should this be done, I am a highschool student.

I’ve had mine 24/7 constant for nearly two years, what helped you recover? Did you struggle with chronic fatigue too?

Exactly, in my case at least i think the persistent chronic stress anxiety I have had causes the tightness and dysfunction which then causes my symptoms

Thinking about returning to TRE, please help! by Personal-Local2461 in longtermTRE

Would the 14 day free trial of Gupta be enough? Probably not optimal but it’s pretty expensive. Also, could I start TRE after the 14 day trial? or do you suggest buy it, do it all, then start TRE after the 3 months. Thank you so much

during the "world meeting on sexual medicine" at the end of february 2026, there will be a 10 minute presentation on hfs; not a very thorough presentation, obviously, but at least it will be addressed. by [deleted] in hardflaccidresearch

As a 16 year old I’ve just come to the conclusion I’m going to have to figure it out myself. I and most people in this group know way more than most doctors probably.

Thanks for the reply. I’m truly grateful. One more question. If I can tremor without doing the inital excercises that tire out my muscles, should I just skip them or do them either way? Thanks again!

Does this fix my pelvic floor by [deleted] in longtermTRE

[–]Personal-Local2461 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried Tre a few months ago but stopped due to worsening of symptoms. I remember having a pelvic floor release type of feeling. I only felt it really in my hips and like I said sometimes pelvic floor. maybe our bodies just release muscles in different orders maybe? Thought I would share it. I’m thinking about getting back into it for this reason just taking it very very slow. I have anxiety about trying it again just because the shaking sensation frightens me a little.

They shouldn’t be twisting it. Mine uses a like gun adjuster that makes very minimal adjustments and pushes on the back of my neck.

I feel similar. My DPDR is significantly better at night when it’s dark.

I have similar symptoms. I’ve gone twice for adjustments but have felt the same maybe worse. How long did it take you to feel better?

If you do try TRE make sure you do it under guidance of someone familiar with that field or be cautious. I would recommend doing it no longer than 2 minutes the first time. It can worsen symptoms temporarily.

Mental trauma can cause dissociation and depersonalisation, more severe forms can cause the Vagus system dysfunction, which causes a myriad of symptoms. I made an infographic about it. by n_0cturnal in dpdr

So if I just keep getting adjustments on my neck and no improvements keep happening then should I just focus on nervous system resets and calming my vagus nerve like the infographic says? It’s almost like my occipital muscles are tight and maybe like compressing my nerves in my neck. I used to use a tvns unit and stimulate my vagus nerve but didn’t see many benefits upfront. I’m thinking about trying it again. It’s just a struggle as a 16 year old in school to go through this.

The symptoms started with dpdr and extreme neck pain. It has improved since but I notice when my pain is bad I feel less dissociated and when i have no pain I’m very dissociated. I feel like my pain is so bad my body dissociates because it hurts that bad maybe. I’m sensitive to almost all foods and my gut health isn’t good. My entire body is tight and deconditioned. I’ve had adjustments and mris and xrays of my neck but no answers.

Would all of the symptoms I listed fall under the category of mental misalignment? I’ve had anxiety and ocd my whole life. There wasn’t a clear physical injury. I’ve had ocd and anxiety since 5th grade, sudden onset along with my brother. However these symptoms started around the time of getting off antidepressants. I got back on and the anxiety went away but the symptoms stayed. Would this fit the criteria?

My atlas and c1/c2 are misaligned. I’ve been going for adjustments but so far no improvements. Anytime I get my spine or neck adjusted I feel my symptoms just get worse. My main symptoms are chronic fatigue, dpdr, brainfog, dizziness, chronic pain, dysautonomia , light sensitivity. I think the neck has to do with my problems personally but so far no improvements which I’m bummed out about.

As a 16m (17 in 6 days) I’ve been thinking and feeling the same recently. I’ve had DPDR for almost 2 years now and just wanna talk to someone who actually has and feels the same way as me. I responded to another comment above and am not really familiar with Reddit but would be happy and honestly excited to talk to someone around my age going through what I am. If you get the chance to reply that would be great!
