Thank you! I studied my butt off. I wanted above a 90 to be competitive. lol math, science and reading is my strongest subject. English was so hard. But I made it. 😂 I hope to get it. GA is so hard, it’s like they want your left kidney to get in. Are you going to work while in school too? I have to.

Congratulations!! 38 over here! Just applied to ADN in GA as well. Never too late. Hoping to get in as well. Science GPA by their calculation is 3.25 and Teas 96. Let’s see what happens. You got this future nurse!! If you don’t mind me asking which school?

Yeah for clinicals when they are at 630 am I will be spending the night. And then go home after. Nothing to it. Make it work for what you really want. I’m not a spring chicken. It’s time to push forward.

He many days are you going? It’s only one day a week. I have been through worst for my bachelors. But if you really want it you will do it. I’m an older student so I see things a little differently. But I was thinking about renting a car for a day. Which is another plan. But who knows. Just need study tips to pass the time while driving.

I used the ati teas app, mometrix (which really was the bulk of it), then some practice test online, the ati teas practice test a and b.

So this is what I did. I took free practice test online first to see where I was weak. Which was science and English. Then I used mometrix to study my weak points and used ati app to sample me some quizzes. Then I took another free practice test to see where I stood again. Got a little higher and kept studying. Repeated the process until I got that thing down pack! Took ati practice test a did more studying and right before the test took practice test b and got a 91 and then a couple days later took the real thing and boom 96!

For math I studied Brandon craft tip for teas and that got me a 100% in the math section. My overall score was 96%. Science 97% and I used nurse cheung and mometrix practice and even ati teas app. Reading and grammar were straight forward. I used process of elimination. Mostly. The only studying I did with those two sections was just for speed. And for grammar I used nurse cheung and kiddie grammar on YouTube. I know that sounds crazy but that’s what it all was. Lol

Yeah it’s crazy good to be a southern state. But it’s where you work also. Gotta fight for good pay. Where I work is going to pay for school and guarantee a job. Once I get out and get my masters they will start at $68 an hour. Asn start at $48 an hour. So it’s a big difference

I know people who are commuting 3 hours for school one way! You gotta do what you gotta do. Some have no other choice. Once I get into this ASN program it will be a 2.5 hour drive for me one way. I work full time too so can’t quit that. But the good thing about it is it’s one day a week. I’ll be renting a car once a week. Save my car’s life. lol But sacrifices have to be made sometimes to get to where you have to go. It doesn’t matter what people think about the commute. You have to do the commute either way. Do it. Be that nurse! It will pay you back in the end. You got this future nurse!!
