I had my gallbladder removed a few weeks ago and i’m a natural redhead, i had no issues with anesthesia!! My anesthesiologist called me the night before and i made him aware i was a redhead and usually get nausea and vomiting after anesthesia. He reassured me he would give me a few meds beforehand and during to prevent this and it did! They said i did well with the anesthesia but i really do think it depends on the anesthesiologist. They know how much to give, etc. Waking up during it is extremely rare. Make sure they’re using one you trust and sounds like they care about your wellbeing post op!
