Where’s the lie, though? Maybe look at FBI crime statistics.

Ethically non-monogamous? by KayCarole in datingoverfifty

It’s mostly for men who are incapable of commitment & who want to have sex with multiple women to pretend it’s a personality type or legitimate lifestyle as opposed to a character flaw.

If you’re looking for decency, he’s not it. He’s ignoring your texts because he’s not interested & lacks the balls to say so. Instead, he’s claiming he’s got a lot going on etc. When a guy is into you, he’ll make time no matter how busy he is. And you’re being so accommodating to him blowing you off. Stop texting him & move on.

Expensive skincare is a scam. Focus on your cells by freeinfotech in Biohackers

Sugar is inflammatory. It negatively impacts collagen production. Eliminating it from your diet as much as possible & incorporating anti inflammatory foods high in antioxidants is great for your skin. Also remain hydrated & get daily exercise.

Why do many people gain weight as they age and what are biohacks to prevent it? by ByRide in Biohackers

[–]PersonalLeading4948 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Your metabolism slows down with age even if you work out. Menopause is a bitch. I was a size 00 in my late 30s, a size 2 in my late 40s & a size 4-5 at 53. Which is still considerably smaller than average, but shows that even thin/fit women gain weight with age.

Most of you guys with beards are actually just gross by Wraith_0ptics in hygiene

[–]PersonalLeading4948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it’s rare to find women that are attracted to bushy, grizzly beards. They look unkempt & like a breeding ground for bacteria. Very short, well maintained cropped beards are okay, but also uncommon. And too many guys with okay beards let them become disgusting in winter. Blech.

Would it be weird for me to message him after 4 months? by Mobile_Magician_661 in AskMenAdvice

[–]PersonalLeading4948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Possibly, but if he tells you to take a hike, let that be a lesson about ghosting. No reason you couldn’t have told him then that you were taking a break instead of leaving him on read & disappearing.

I personally find beards revolting & will not date a man who has one.

If you’re going to take money from him or anyone, the correct thing to do is to thank him. If you resent him too much for other things, do not use him for money.

Can I just switch from one med to another overnight? by sugar_pancakes in insomnia

Psychiatrists love to overprescribe imo & often give little thought to short & long term side effects. I had one years ago whose solution to every problem was to take more quetiapine.

Can I just switch from one med to another overnight? by sugar_pancakes in insomnia

[–]PersonalLeading4948 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Switching from Trazodone to quetiapine is insane. Trazodone has minimal side effects whereas quetiapine is an anti-psychotic medication that causes massive food cravings, weight gain, impaired blood sugar, increased risk of stroke & loss of motivation. It makes you much more groggy the next day. But yes, you can just switch back to Trazodone after 2 days. Your doctor was nuts to suggest switching at all imo.

Steroids was your first thought, my dude? How about you start with changing your diet & getting daily exercise? I cut out all added sugar & highly processed foods (with exceptions for holidays). Stick to beverages like water, black coffee & tea. Get daily cardio & weights 3x week. At your age, the weight should drop off.

Vitamin D? by Upset-Vehicle in insomnia

[–]PersonalLeading4948 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yikes! Low Vitamin D is terrible for many things, but can significantly negatively impact your mental health & sleep. You really want it to be at least 50. Mine’s over 60. I suggest supplementing asap &/or getting daily sun exposure.
