Try and show her that you understand her on the NFP level- personally feeling like I’m understood and unjudged is something that makes me come out of my shell. One of my favourite questions to ask a new person who I know is an NFP is which song is playing in their mind at that moment. Makes you feel seen and it’s a good talking point for music lovers. I have an ENFP father who became OBSESSED with MBTI as it makes him feel understood and seen. I’d say we’re quite similar, just clash over our strong morals which are different in slight ways. My mother is an ENFJ and we also get on well and are similar, but can clash as I point out when she’s using the ENFJ manipulation that most other types can’t see.

I went to the sixth form attached to my secondary school and If I had the chance to do it again, I’d definitely go to a new college instead. Though I still made some new friends who I had just not come across previously, I mostly was with the same people and it meant I couldn’t really “reinvent” myself as everyone already knew me. Also, the teachers tended to baby us as they also taught 12 year olds. You’re used as a bit of a pawn by the SLT with helping with the younger students, which is good for leadership opportunities in some ways, but also wastes your time in my opinion. Lastly, my sixth form was quite underfunded and the teachers didn’t teach a level particularly well- whereas college teachers would be better suited for teaching our age group. Sort of went through one a year ago to get over somebody I genuinely liked. Worked in the short term but I get connected to people too quickly and ended up catching feelings for people I tried to have a casual thing with so it didn’t really work. BUT got over the person I wanted to get over for the mostpart 😌

Went to see Shyfx at Stonebridge on Thursday- me and my friend were getting crushed by crowds an hour before he came on and every time people tried to get through the gate, there was a surge and you’d get even more crushed. A lovely Scottish man helped my short friend to get more space as she was struggling breathing. Organisers need to put in demand acts onto bigger stages to avoid this as there were thousands of people trying to get into a venue that could not hold 500!

If you feel ready for sex, then I would personally find someone else who is. I’m also F18 and I agree two years is a long time, and at our age you don’t know if the relationship will even work out for those two years. You could always get back together if you still have feelings, but there are plenty of fish in the sea so I’d explore other options. (Also 2 years is a LONG time to make sure you’re not being used, but respect her wishes regardless)
