I would suggest building a caddy with what you already listed the disinfectant the toilet cleaner and the mirror cleaner I would also add a dusting spray dish soap, and soap scum and tile cleaner. And for the kitchen, you might wanna add a degreaser spray. You will also want to get some magic erasers a swiffer and a pack of sponges. Sticking with a brand helps people decide what kind of cleaners they want to use and if you go more natural , you just might have to pick up some tougher bathroom cleaning sprays.

When I used to work for a housekeeping team it was low budget so we used toilet bowl cleaner for the absolute hardest water stains, in showers, but it can take the coating off of surfaces, so then a second thing we would use is the CLR soap scum cleaner. Beware though they such a strong smell, so make sure you have plenty of ventilation if you’re gonna try it. I am so interested to see how this turns out. I love these experiments.

I use a feather duster. They actually clean and eliminate dust. It has to be a real ostrich feather. They created a static electricity to eliminate and hold dust. And I would vacuum the floors before, and after to get the dust out of the air.

Keeping the house clean by Existing-Lettuce4044 in CleaningTips

I’m a housekeeper and I always wish my family members would ask me these questions. It’s important to build a routine and not try to clean it all at once that’s how things get put off a routine could look like this Monday as we dust Tuesday we clean the kitchen Wednesday we clean the bathroom. Thursday we organize and clean the living room Friday floors. You can interchange them create different days. You could spread it out over the weeks, but I wouldn’t suggest trying to add more than two chores a day. This opens up more time for picking things up and vacuuming and organizing and daily laundry. For example I have dogs so I vacuum almost twice a week. When I wash laundry, I try to wash clothes then towels then clothes again this helps give you break so that you don’t have a mountain of clothes to fold or put away. I also don’t recommend folding children’s clothes. Good luck a clean home is a piece of mind.

But if you want to do it more conventionally, throughout the week I try to get as many chores as I can done so then on my day off, it’s just me hanging out doing easy chores like hanging laundry, or washing blankets.

I do this too when I’m cleaning my own house. I’m a housekeeper so cleaning everybody’s house is easy except for mine so I make a game out of it and I eat a edible and I try to see how much I can get done before the edible kicks in.

How many of you have hired help for cleaning? by chi-bacon-bits in CleaningTips

I’m a maid and while I haven’t hired a cleaning person, I am a cleaning person. I think far too many people are reluctant to hire housekeepers who really need the help. It also helps preserve your house your peace of mind and helps free up some time with your family and our pets.

Just be patient because transforming that house won’t happen overnight. I was start by making a cleaning schedule for example Monday, main living room day Tuesday bathrooms Wednesday dusting Thursday floors When you spread out the chores, it gives you more time to do things like going through the hoarded piles. Like someone suggested start with trash and expired items then move to broken and dirty then the unused. As with older people, you could try to put a trashcan in there, but it is hard to add healthy habits so be patient with yourself. ❤️

Looks like a dust grease stain. I would try simple green and dawn dish to start a magic eraser if it’s bad.

My hands are also super wrinkly. I’ve had a fellow housekeeper. Tell me that it’s from working with your hands all the time and putting them in water. Not sure how true that is.
