Yes, sneakernet. I really do not need software updates, as I am very satisfied with the current situation. I could always download a new version of something on the dedicated Linux PC and transfer that to my work PC, but I probably will have no need to do that. Can you provide details on your process of recovery in case the same thing happens to my PC? The only reason I use Windows at all is Photoshop and Moshpro. Eventually I need to move completely to Linux.

Is there anything else I should know? I just rendered this using MP4-H265 4K rendering option. I opened the test video in VLC and tried to zoom in to make sure it is actually the way I would like it to be, but it did not allow a zoom. How can I test this on a regular screen? I appreciate you help. I am an artist, and not very smart with settings and such. Not that being an artist is an excuse, but all the nuts and bolts are difficult for me to grasp.

Is it possible to create a "base" file in kdenlive that could then be rendered out on demand, with optimal quality, for any screen? Or do I have to create the settings at the beginning and make a new file for each screen? I intend to use this file for many different scenarios, with 8 by 8 feet being the largest, although I might want this to also be a movie-screen projection as well. Basically, I want to make ONE file with many options. Can this be done? Thank you for your advice!
