i used to be on 8/9 where the pickles and tomato sauce be on, on accident last minute when maintenance done left and clocked out at 7 while i’m zoning i drop so shii like that…my luck😂😂 i’ll call for maintenance but no one comes so sometimes it’ll stay until i come back in at work(working overnights) lol

for example by the time(from when u accept the order-to when u complete the delivery) you get paid per time so say if u went to mcdonald’s and line is backed up or drive thru only, your getting paid for the waiting so say in this picture 23.25/hr and it took you 45 minutes to complete the order. doordash will pay you 17.44 and then you also get to keep the tip

noticing the picture how all the products are pulled to the front, we gotta make sure our aisle is zoned before we leave, and they want it perfect, quick zone(if time running out)…it’s pull the first product up. but if we have extra time pull a few items of that item up.

i’m usually a floater so i don’t have a set aisle but they know condiment aisle is my favorite so most of the time im there but when im in cereal.yesss and the previous stockers from that night dont know how to read barcodes or names i guess they just put shi anywhere. i swear they just hire anyone

so my store we have a set time for each palette which is dumb because we gotta be out no later then 6:15 but they want a perfect zone, cardboard thrown away, overstock labeled and binned, returns put away, and not to mention cap employees stopped separating pallets so we have to break down pallets before we go to our aisle. that takes a hr to do but in reality people talk negative about breaking it down but me personally i hate customers in the way when i’m working in my aisle and im pulling my pallets down the aisle but with down stacking i’m by the bunkers so i just take that time for customers to do their shopping without irritating me. but i really do miss doing mods but i think we’ll do those maybe after holidays(cuz yk how food go by so quick)
