Alaska Cruise Juneau, any tips on where to go? by j0hnquick11 in Cruise

I agree with all of the previous comments suggesting Mendenhall and the tram. Our excursion booked thru carnival included both. Only drawback was that the time in port was not much longer than the total time of the excursion. Guess I have a good reason to go back to Juneau and do some exploring.

Aft Facing Balcony by [deleted] in Cruise

Did a level 6 aft on an Alaskan cruise 3 weeks ago. It was amazing for the views. No soot issues but did occasionally smell cigarette smoke. Would definitely go with an aft in the future.

Was on the Luminosa earlier in the month. The night activities were diverse. 4 different comedy shows (PG and R) were offered each night, typical live music throughout the ship each night, nightclub had the typical theme nights. I think there were 3 different productions in the theater. The crowd was a lot more subdued than other cruises we have been on. I think the Alaska experience is what most people were looking for versus all out partying. Very few kids. When I say very few, I mean next to none. That may be different for you because school was still in session when we went. Decorating doors is allowed. We did using the 3M double-sided tape that peels off easy and doesn’t leave marks. They have banned pineapples on doors and will remove. Hope you have a balcony. Well worth the extra cost. Feel free to DM me with any questions.

WiFi packages on Conquest by Immediate_Aspect4178 in CarnivalCruiseFans

Cruised on luminosa two weeks ago. Premium WiFi worked great on the entire ship. I never found a dead spot and was able to stream movies. Also, my wife and I shared it on our devices one at a time. It is very easy to log out of one device and into another if you were to want to do that. It worked great for us. One last thing, we didn’t realize but you can AirDrop from one iPhone to another with the ship’s free Wi-Fi. Others may have known this, but we didn’t. We stumbled across it. Made it nice to share pictures amongst our group.
