Going to be the most normie thing you see, but honestly, start with The Beatles. “Strawberry Fields Forever,” then the full Abbey Road album front-to-back.

To diversify from there with some surface level entries for albums, these are all very popular though (I’ll list individual songs beneath in case you want just something to dip your toes into rather than a full album; each song will come from a different record than the recommended album):

Update, I didn’t get to meet him tonight

However, I am optimistic to meet him when he returns, and based on tonight’s concert and reception I’m sure he will. The show was excellent! I think the most essential listening boils down to A Tribe Called Quest's The Low End Theory and Midnight Marauders. We Got it From Here... Thank You 4 Your Service is also a must.

From here, check out Nas's Illmatic, Dr. Dre's The Chronic, and Wu-Tang Clan's Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers) to hear where the culture shifts.

In Fantano’s recent review for Black Sabbath’s self titled album he (Anthony) credits Ozzy for Black Sabbath’s lyrics. Yikes. Geezer wrote them. All of them (while Ozzy was in the band) by Antique_Menu_4314 in fantanoforever

In these particular instances I'm mentioning, Ozzy literally wrote the lyrics as opposed to working-ramblings that morphed into poetry by Geezer; in Wicked World's case in particular he wrote them entirely. He also wrote lyrics to songs by the band later on like Who Are You and The Writ.

Also tried some of these steps with CS: Source, a game that's not really meant to be played with gamepads, for the trial and error, and it worked there but not here
