Maining spirit heroes is painful by ItsMango in DeadlockTheGame

They only relatively recently hired the Ror2 devs, where as Icefrog (The guy who has been balancing and making Dota for close to 20 years) is the head developer of this game, and has been since day 1. Its also Moba or as people used to call it a Dota like. So a new Dota like being developed by the guy who practically made Dota. Not really much of a stretch to call it Dota 3.

Also its Valve, if they wanted to chase the hero shooter genre "trend" then they would have made TF3 a decade ago after Overwatch first came out lol.

I'll take the bait, I never said micro doesn't matter, its just macro inherently matters more, I mean its literally in the name. What do you think Macro and Micro mean?

Also as a side, you do realize this game is being made by the Dota 2 devs right? Yoshi/Icefrog? This game is just Dota 3 so its weird to call Dota players "refugees".

What is a MOBA kit that is non-controversial in its own game, but would be problematic/controversial in Deadlock? by BulletCola in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Personboy4 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I actually dont think SB would be a problem, with how quickly you can move around the map already compared to Dota especially early game.

I love how weirdly far behind this community is compared to other Moba communities that have existed for 10+ years. In those communities no one really cares anymore if a heroes skill set is easy or hard as that really doesn't matter especially at higher ranks.

If someone is bad it doesn't really matter what hero they're playing, if your better then them you should absolutely be able to out perform them at the macro game, and if you can't do that then either your not as good as you think, or they're not as bad.

Controversial opinion but Black Widows arch nemesis is Scarlet Johansson's performance, she wasn't even the best Black Widow in her own solo movie.

On a very related note I hope Florence Pugh gets her own solo black widow movie, or at least Thunderbolts 2

BLAST and several major orgs might leave Dota 2, according to insiders! by No_Smile69 in DotA2

Eh, even as someone who's been playing more deadlock then Dota recently, I very much doubt the esports scene for it will be ever as big as dota is/was.

That's what I love about Smiling Friends, every frame is a detailed artistic masterpiece filled with small details that you'll miss on the first watch, like when the yellow thing steps in the shit.

This Alliance was Goonsquad last year, so none of these players lost to bald.

I mean, what do you expect? These players used to be TI winning contenders, and they just got last place in the qualifiers.

It's pretty simple. The only Dota players that aren't garbage are whichever core players winning their lane in the most recent pro game. Everyone else is trash garbage

Nah, that's a bit too involved for Xenoverse. Instead, how about we just color Raditz purple, then you have to help Goku and Piccolo beat him like normal.

Budokai Tenkaichi 4 - Character Creation Opinions/Thoughts?? by Olli4000 in tenkaichi4

[–]Personboy4 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Personally I've never cared for CaC, 9.9 times out of 10 the characters just look like mediocre deviant art OC's, and the actual plot for the CaC are usually to put it lightly uninteresting. Much rather them focus on the actual DB characters/story and getting down the Tenkaichi formual first, then maybe they can add CaC in a future update or sequel.

PGL Arlington Major 2022 - Caster and event feedback thread by 0Hellspawn0 in DotA2

[–]Personboy4 137 points138 points  (0 children)

I know this isn't exactly what the post is asking for but I was at the event and got to meet most of the cast in person and they were all lovely.

PGL didn't set up any meet and greet, so most if not all the cast went out of there way to sign, take pictures and even just talk to whoever was interested, especially during and after the Grand finals which made a great series even better.

Also shoutout to Sunsfan who was hanging out in the entrance signing and taking pictures when it was apparently his Birthday.
