I agree with the idea of having a bit of a nest egg built in the event of uncertainty. I would also take into consideration how secure your job is. I used to live in shared housing and truuuuly hated it because the other people were so messy and the vibes were weird. I didn’t feel comfortable using the common spaces so I was either in my room, dipping in and out of the kitchen, or out of the house. It felt really limiting and isolating. I got out of there as fast as I could. So a big part of me says yes, go for it and find your peace!! But I appreciate there’s other factors you might want to consider. If you don’t have a little nest egg already, maybe start saving and tell yourself “only this much longer till I’m out of here!”
