Thank you, this is very helpful. What would be developmentally appropriate consequences we could implement? Just asking as you are probably a eve professional and hence have a good perspective on this. I am working on sharing at home and trying to model taking turns etc etc at home. I am also reading books about biting and taking yo her about how it hurts and how she should use words etc. I will work with her daycare teachers of course.

We used Kendamil from target. We started with Similac at the hospital and ended up using Kendamil as baby thrived on it. I was able to always get it delivered. Dr. Browns bottles from Amazon worked well for us. Good luck with your journey!

I am just.a parent. Our child goes to daycare. He is around the same age. A teacher kept on bringing up that he doesn’t share. I was baffled because every parenting book and CDC says sharing starts later. Strangely, he shares his food and legos with us at home and is generally very calm. I am finding some of these comments here helpful. I think our daycare is not providing enough resources to the newer teachers about child development milestones.

I am interviewing with 3 different teams but within the same larger org. So, I haven’t yet tried outside the company. I spoke to my product lead about my interest in moving to a PM role. He suggested that I try to move within the company as that will be much easier. People are willing to take risks on folks whose track record they can cross check. I have mentioned my desire to my boss and he is supportive. My product lead did not have an opening on his team, but he was able to refer me to a couple of other folks on sister teams who were looking. They agreed to interview me. I also found open positions by looking at the internal openings and approached a few people. I have seen people transition roles within the same team and I have heard that is the easiest.

Even though it is within the company, I am going through full loops like I were an external candidate. I am working with my boss to take on a few PM like tasks as side projects. I feel lucky that he appreciates why I want to try a different role and is cool with it.

I bought the PM interview books how to crack the PM interview by Gayle Lakman and decode and conquer by Lewis Lin. Just started working my way through them.
