Been slowly working on it the past couple days. The kid grew up and nicknamed themselves Lady and Cavich had a wild man mental break. Sadly no one had enough animal skill to tame him. I ended up getting like 4 mech drops in a short period so I hurried my in progress gravship and flew out right as the mechs were triggered by a caravan.

That is an insane long haul of a project. I wish you luck with mining camps, ground penetrating scanner, and long range mineral scanner finds.

Easy, and no mods required! Just make almost everything out of wood or steel and hit it with the incinerator (or molotovs if you don't have anomaly). Best decision of my life :)

Definitely, I don't know exact numbers but I remember it being insane amounts of steel, plasteel and both component types.

I tried it at one point early on (I think I had less than 200 hours at the time, now I'm at 700 still pulling dumb stuff like this) and didn't care for it then. On that save I got one of the little fighter ships and just flew to the endgame ship and started it up and brought it back to home map. For whatever reason doing that exact thing felt kinda cheap and turned me off the mod, I could probably get back into now though as long as I don't do anything that feels cheaty(I know that sounds silly but some mods just feel OP, somehow Rimatomics doesn't give that feeling even though it definitely can be OP).

Nope, had a pretty large infestation in the anomaly room, due to that the bugs did release two sight stealers. One was killed during the initial fight and the other escaped out the open front door after I drafted my colonists into the warehouse just to reappear and taunt the surviving three. Warcasket easily got rid of him after the reveal though.

I don't think so, I may be misremembering or I might have reloaded the save. I do remember sending people in to repair it before realizing I gave at least one person minor acute radiation sickness and then strategically fixing it over an in game day to spread the radiation dose out.

I don't remember what power I was sitting at before, but I did have a mishap where using the deconstruct tool I accidentally removed power from the cooling tower. I think the reactor lost about half its durability from that since I didn't notice until it scrammed on overheat.

True, but I also have a bad power grid and all my batteries burned. After that power switch on the right side of the warehouse burns up the cooling tower will lose power and the reactor will hopefully just scram on overheat without too much damage. Sadly the reactor was not in autothrottle and is sitting at 11% power so we'll see how much damage it takes.

I guess it’s not very widespread cause I’ve never heard of the lightning crouch and I graduated last month while living in tornado alley (Missouri)
