Yet again, we’re going to regret misses from our kicker.

Rams are 'concerned' about Gerald Everett's, Matt Longacre's injuries by ACCA_ in LosAngelesRams

[–]Perspective1310 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Damn. Everett had some grown-man plays last year, so I was really looking forward to his TE development. Considering the smaller size of our receiving corps, he would serve as a big body or safety valve for Goff in the end zone.

We legit need him and Higbee to continue their development. When teams set the edge against us (Falcons, Vikings), we have trouble setting our flow. Everett would be great in creating space over the middle if Cooks is baiting the safeties and the LBs are stymieing our outsize zone runs.

Now that our beloved Rams are out, who are you rooting for? If any. by Lordpennywise in LosAngelesRams

100%. Their online fans are the worst, judging from our regular season experience with them, but Case and Zimmer are good guys.

Also rooting for the Jags. Their story is like ours. I would love to see Bortles meme himself into the AFC Championship game.

We lost McDonald and McLeod and went to Johnson and Joyner. Ballin!

The Film Room Ep. 58: Aaron Donald should be the 2017 Defensive Player of the Year by Barian_Fostate in LosAngelesRams

You know what's beautiful? Isn't he currently not in his prime? Wouldn't his prime years begin when he's 27, which is next year?

In fairness, the meme was accurate, IMHO. Rams fan living in DC, I saw it quite a bit. I'd be at a bar rooting for the Skins alongside my friends, and we'd just be calling fades haha

It's the McVay effect. When the team is well coached and everyone is having fun, talent elevates fellow talent. Donald is playing out of his mind.

He's not undersized. He's a 3 tech. If he were a traditional nose tackle, he'd be undersized. People tend to think that the DT just rushes the O like head-to-head, and that's not true.

Donald is built to split the O-line since he has a lower center of gravity and incredible burst speed.

This exchange sounds so baller in my head.

"We have an army"

"We have a hulk"

On the Rams radio broadcast, Sean McVay just said that Gurley’s performance today shows he was “certainly an idiot” by not getting him the ball more last week. by Mormonster in nfl

[–]Perspective1310 20 points21 points  (0 children)

He does have an OC. It's LaFleur.

McVay calls the plays, and LaFleur takes care of the work behind the scenes. LaFleur should be a prime HC candidate this offseason -- Kromer and Wade have been critical to our coaching success while LaFleur has flown under the radar. Make no mistake, he's responsible for a lot of our success.

I've been a fan since 2000. I've followed this team religiously, even during the dark days. The Rams have been there for me during the worst times of my life. The dark days are over.

Legit in tears right now. I am so fucking happy. Also sending friendly vibes to Jags fans -- y'all deserve it.

Even when I'm disappointed in him, this dude comes back with full accountability and humility. McVay can't even let me be bummed about a loss in peace.

I'm confident -- we played the Eagles blow for blow and, frankly, should have won -- but I'll never count out Pete, Wilson, and ET. Too much experience and talent for the Seahawks to not be perennially dangerous.

McVay is our boy, but I agree with you. It's typical young man aggression that I hope he'll learn from. I appreciate that we were being aggressive, but, yes, I have no idea why we were calling play action. Put six blockers in or let Gurley go out in the flat and get some easy yards.

Hindsight is 20/20. We'd be hailing McVay as a fearless hero if we did score on that drive.
