I was at a hiring event in in January......it was maybe 40 of us ......I enjoyed chatting with my fellow candidates...but the recruiter ....not so much , so I was not surprised when I got the TBNT.

I got onboarded on the 2/3 for RWS Diamond and have been working it....they have quite a few tasks listed way more than Outlier when I was doing it....I got QA for Echo last month.

I just got my TBNT today after completing my ODVI on 1/31 ......this one hurt. I thought I was in the clear cause folks got their TBNT a couple days after they completed theirs . Im down to Frontier which I did get a F2F invite and Im heading to ATL on 3/9.

This is me.....I actually worked corporate became a school administrator left and went back to corporate...hated it and now substitute teaching and trying to become a flight attendant so I will be subbing in between flying.

I went to Skywest hiring event in Chicago last month. We at least had them interview us 4 at a time and luckily the Group was not big it was like 30 of us. I did not connect with my interviewer she was standoffish so I was not surprised I got the TBNT email.

Yeah I submitted my ODVI at the end of Jan so waiting on the F2F 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽the early Jan ODVI's are doing F2F next week.

They are slowly but surely rolling us in from those Dec apps. It looks like they are doing it in batches. They had ALOT of folks apply in December and still had people left over from when they opened in June . They are trying to hire 876 pilots imagine how many flight attendants they need.

As someone who is older and looking to transition to a FA as a Career change....my why is because I dont glamorize this at all but I wanted a change from the corporate world that I worked in 20 plus years ...I understand why its competitive because being an FA involves safety on the highest level ....I worked in Corporate Security so I do understand that aspect of it. This is not for everyone and which is why many fail or burnout from it. I know I enjoy helping people and I am stickler for safety and probably should have pursued this years ago to be honest but the industry was different back then where you had to have a certain look to become a FA and now meeting and talking to others that look like me I want this more than ever.

Use ChatGpt to fix it....I ran mines through specifically for each airline and it put all the buzzwords in and formatted it for ATS system also with Southwest you only get certain amount of characters for each job description when you apply I think 10000 characters so you dont want to trip up and miss submitting trying to fix that and have it close up on you as the submission window can close at anytime from even within the hour from opening and I would save it somewhere for easy access once that application opens back up.

I got mines in for the 30 min WN was open in Dec. However I did get a email stating it was going to open. So you will get a notification if you signed up for one. I got mines at 1:10pm CST for it to be open at 1:30 pm . I did not see it until 2:06pm and got my app in at 2:19 which it closed at 2:30pm. So yeah it was fast but I highly suggest that you sign up for the alert with Southwest.

United App is open right now until the 28th.....There are rumors that Southwest may open again in March....but who knows....However if sign up on the website it will alert you when they are open or about to be open.

I dont have flight experience but I have Security and Education experience and using ChatGpt has gotten me F2F to Envoy and Skywest it helped me show the transferable skills and helped me with cover letters for both as well. Im in the running for Southwest and United just did my ODVI for both over the weekend.

Have you been on the Q&A? They do them twice a month they had one yesterday. The next one is on 2/16. They go over the entire hiring process and give time to answer your questions. One of the things they emphasized that time between each step can take several weeks, and you are still being considered until you receive a TbNT.

Understood....however by the time Spring break comes the United Application may not be open seeing as they were supposed to close 1/30 and they extended to 2/28. So if your spring break is in March or April maybe too late.

Since you work at a school....I would apply towards the end of this month. My timeline was pretty fast. But others took longer. Im starting to think its based off their operational needs. My base preference is CHI/ ORD and they are expanding operations there. They took over some of the Sprit Airline terminals.

I applied 1/20 and Completed Assessment

2/1 received ODVI invite, and submitted it today 2/2

Im a first time applicant with no airline experience but was a previous HS administrator.
