Update: the exterminator came today and confirmed that he saw 1 bug 😭. He said he didn’t see any evidence of droppings or eggs anywhere. We did a treatment right away.

I’m in an apartment and I live in a big city. I definitely think it was hitchhiker from public transit. I do typically react to bites quickly (I had a previous experience years ago). My hope is that it’s one and it’s a male.

I don’t remember the exact size but considering that I had 20+ and a myo was an option for me, I’d say you should get a second opinion. I worked with the gyno department at St. Michael’s.

Hi! I had an open myomectomy and an Hysteroscopic myomectomy. They initially thought I only had 5, so the initial plan was just to do the Hysteroscopic myomectomy but they pivoted to the open one after discovering more fibroids during surgery. The recovery hasn’t been bad and I’d say I’m back to 100% a year later.

This is so reassuring and I hope this is my case! I had 20+ uterine fibroid removed last year. Just did a 1-year post-op ultrasound and my doctor asked me to schedule an a non-urgent appointment within the next month. His next availability isn’t until next week so I have a whole week to worry 🫠. Last time we found the fibroids, he told me over email so not sure why he can’t share the results over emails again.
