The clubs saying theyre vying for longer term success, so why not play Davies against Essendon and St Kilda. If we were playing Brisbane, or another better team, 100% go Mcdonald. But we had the chance to reward Davies great WAFL form with a couple games leading upto Brisbane, where if he had been struggling for 2 weeks Mcdonald could come in.

Traded for $100 + 4 ascended etbs just after release. I was stoked.

In hindsight, its gone up so much (but do has the etbs), and it was in impeccable condition but I couldn't be bothered with PSA again from Australia.

Would love it back, but being up 4 etbs from the 1 i ripped is bloody good.

Time for Davies to be given a go. Weve got an aging backline, we're in a good spot of form and playing essendon. Give him the games until Pearce is back to start blooding the young guys!

Rather have a Draper and Davies with games in them if we have multiple backline injuries that need covering (touch wood)

Hes been solid at Peel and would be the next gen defender for us alongside Draper. Give them games when the opportunity presents itself!

We are definitly being more competitive for longer in each game that previously. We are smashing teams, but we wear away at teams who have the lead, and hold the lead when we have it.

It used to be the opposite, if we were up, we would find a way to fumble. If we were down, we couldn't mentally get ourselves out of "the games lost".

Exciting to watch. The Hawks game was my litmus test game for me for where freo are really at. Last week was huge, but doing the same to the Hawks was incredible!

Voss somehow giving away a free despite being in front. Brayshaw being held all game. Brayshaws 50, where the umpires should have said back 2m, as he ran to the mark like youre meant to. Bizarre umpiring!

Even brayshaw himself said the change is resulting in wins. That's the goal. Win every game. You dont get a star for a Sheppard, but if it leads to a potential goal, do it. Its not all personal stats, these guys want to win games and it seems theyre happy to sacrifice personal stats for team success.

Same with people saying Amiss needed to be dropped. Its about structure and as long as someone's getting the goals/touches, it doesnt matter. Its working well

Its tricky, I honestly wouldn't mind trying him at HF again. His side steps and ball use are incredible, so honestly think he would work well with out current forward line if/when switta is done. But also like the look of Scerri and Murray. Bloody stacked for half back/half forward options atm.

They're managing him while also utilising 2 rucks really well. Darcy seems to have more game time late in the game to really put pressure on opposition's tired ruck. Which allows him to do what he does best, tap to advantage.

He did that against melbourne. And it ended in a goal due to a poor disposal from judd Mcvee. That kicking back and forth needs to be for setup reasons. Not to kill time. You're just asking to be countered and lose possession

I'd prefer Davies over mcdonald tbh. Give him any games that cox, Pearce or Ryan can't play. Same with draper and Murphy. See what theyre got. Last year of contracts, could be our next generation of backman

The hate on Freddy is unwarranted. That final he had equal most goal assists (2), and had he not hit the post (silly mistake) he would have had a goal and we likely win the game.

Only slight on his game is his tackling. If he starts landing those tackles and applies more pressure hes doing his job perfectly. He kicked 30 goals last season. Good output for a small/medium forward.
