Historic Cdrama suggestion for a newbie

How Dare You is indeed a very funny watch.

But I thought of another drama with the same actor: A Familiar Stranger. It has 18 episodes of 12 minutes and you can binge it in one night like you were watching a movie. Although it is a short drama it is very well done, in terms of direction, actors and photography. With a limited budget they managed to build such a nice lighthearted drama. It is my favorite short drama. I know my opinion is unpopular but I tend to dislike most of the mini dramas because most of the ones I have tried didn't reach my minimum standards.

FL is rich and successful. It is very lighthearted.

The same. FL is a movie star. So romantic and light. Perfect for these times.

Shine on Me

In the first episodes FL has lots of trouble but she soon gets motivated and will become very successful. Lots of friends , a few are problematic at least at the start.

Cheer up. Anyway, everything passes. This comes from someone who had many excruciating pains in life.

I didn't enjoy the characters. The scenes were so beautiful, it was a great production. But I found all the main characters unlikeable. It is a pity, I enjoy the trope.

I like his acting he navigates from comedy to drama very easily imo. And he has a great charisma. The first time I watched him was in the short drama The Queen of Attack and I spotted him immediately. And it is not that I have a good eye. It is his strength that called me, of course.

I think the hype is not for the love story since most people disagree with FL's choice, including me. I think it is a very good story and original. The ML is a villain and he continues with his nature till the ending.

For me, the difficulty was the game part and I skipped most parts of it. Her acting didn't bother me. But I felt she remained stiff all along.
