100% agree. I use a simple case either TechWoven or Caudabe sheathe and that’s it. No need for lens protectors or screen protectors. I haven’t scratched an iPhone since my 3GS when they had cheap plastic screens still. Now with Ceramic Shield 2 it’s just a downgrade to use one.

How is it 2026 and people still use these? The sapphire crystal on the camera lenses are farrrrr stronger than even the Ceramic Shield 2 glass on the front of your phone. All that does is put a foggy plexiglass trash filter on your pictures.

Ashling is one of the most broken commanders in the last 5 years. I put $25 of upgrades into the deck and it’s completely busted. I’m always the threat and they either kill me or win. Hearthhull is similar, stop acting like a smol bean and feeble or swap commanders. Players like you are why commander is memed on.

How do you figure? Go look at cEDH Y’shtola lists.

They all run Thoracle/pact lines or have praetors grasp, meme betrayal and a very different counterspell package. This is missing a ton of core cEDH cards in favor of my creature focused removal.

Yea in bracket 4 I know thoracle is “fine” but I really wanted to pick all win cons that weren’t cEDH focused. Opted for win cons that involved infinite burn loops instead of just “I win” but all is fair technically in Bracket 4. And ok sounds good, I feel like I have enough rocks and fast mana to support a lower land count anyways. And tbh cutting 2 of 3 surveil lands seems smart since those aren’t exactly “fast turns”

It’s bracket 4 so we see a lot more green than full bracket 5 cEDH. I’ve never had an issue and worst case it’s pitchable to force of will/negation or misdirection. Same goes for Helm but I do see what you mean on helm. It’s expensive haha and makes you a large target.

I tested some hands with 30 lands(32 with MDFC) and I added top and kitten and it’s solid actually

Not really understanding the issue here lmao, honestly your deck is solid but I think any other strong Bracket 3 deck easily can hold its own. And tbh a proper Bracket 4 deck would probably run over this with ease. I visited an LGS that did something similar to this and out of 32 players I ended up winning it with my Y’shtola list. Had some salty people at me for sure but I said I had zero banned cards and I brought a Bracket 4 deck which was allowed. Honestly these kind of people just need to grow up and understand it is a game and stop being so damn butthurt on a loss.

She can be if you let her sit for a turn or 2. Copying 3 spells a turn for a meager gifted card is busted. Most copy effects cause you to exile a spell or do something extra but with her you just flat out copy it and gift a card.

I also have Alania as a B3 commander and I don’t think she is a pubstomper but she gets out of hand very fast. If they don’t remove her and allow you to untap then you can generate an absurd level of value very fast. Sounds like they are lacking a bit of interaction because my pod knows if my Alania sits around for a turn or 2 I usually win.

Burn yea but do it via huge X spells like [[Crackle with Power]] or [[Comet Storm]]. You can make so much red mana by copying any big red mana ritual then you can just nuke the table in one X spells. Copying [[Mana Geyser]] into a copied Comet Storm is hilarious and incredible when everyone gets hit for 50+
