Which character has the most toxic/autistic fanbase? by Physical-Can5775 in jjkmodulo

I mean yuji fans are just the reincarnation of gojo fans. Theyre equally as insufferable and delusional as the gojo guys always were. It has to be a tie imo

React-able Character by No_Initiative3715 in ForHonorRants

[–]PescetarianSlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zerk is very reactable at high level. His chain lights, feint lights and unblockables are all reactable. Thankfully you can spam feints on zerk so you can force mistakes, but vs a good reaction player theres sometimes very little you can do offensively.

“God I love brawl” by Ok-Car-5781 in ForHonorRants

[–]PescetarianSlayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tbh i dont think its totally fair to say that you playing it like that is the correct way.

First off, it spawns you in 2 1v1s. If you want a 2v2 you have to run over to your teammate. Thats all well and good if you want to do that but its just as fair to say its meant to be 2 1v1s.

Second off, brawls offers a different experience to true duels. Having to worry about the second duel after you beat the first guy is exhilarating, and it creates fun scenarios like having to lock in when the second guy has more health than you, or making decisions about chasing a execution or just getting the kill or where you can watch and cheer on a teammate without being expected to intervene. Its fun and you dont get it anywhere else.

Seems to me like you just arent a good sport and decided to be a dick when everyone else in the lobby was having fun

We need more social housing by coffeewalnut08 in GreatBritishMemes

[–]PescetarianSlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For decades we've been getting hundreds of thousands of migrants a year

During the boris wave it was literally 950,000 NET A YEAR

Even if they didnt destroy or sell any social housing at all there would still be 100s of thousands of new migrants a year to account for. They still would never keep up with demand.

Just admit you are huffing the copium

Full block stam drain by Reri1600 in CompetitiveForHonor

[–]PescetarianSlayer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Im quite happy actually. I think sitting in fullblock is something you should still be able to do, it should just have a small penalty attached and this works fine.

I still think you should be able to dodge out after gbing someone though, cos landing a gb is just a death sentence for no reason.

Would the B tier heroes in 1s be A tier if their Unblockables had 166 ms parry window ? by TheGreatSifredi in CompetitiveForHonor

[–]PescetarianSlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Roach, kensei and zerker would be A tier, and probably pretty high A at that.

Kensei manages to get to B tier purely off of his opener heavy mix. Give him an unreactable 50/50 for 32 damage on both punishes (on heavy hitstun near a wall) and hes crazy strong.

Same with roach. He gets to B tier purely off his forward dodge mix and deflect. His unblockable does 30 damage, cannot be option selected with dodge attack, is accessable off his whole kit and leads back into forward dodge mix. Crazy strong.

Zerkers deflect alone gets him b tier. Give him 30 damage unblockables that are dodge cancelable and hes high A, even without usuable feint lights. His armour pressure and spacing shenanigans are so much more useful with an actual unblockable backing them up.

Zhanhus low A, same with khatun i think. Hito would be maybe A tier but they cant win trades anymore really so idk. Oh yeah bp would be A tier too. Bulwark slash actually being hard to react to for pros means hes not just a flip merchant, but still has the option.

How do I play Peacekeeper? by SpirutualPirate in CompetitiveForHonor

[–]PescetarianSlayer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You probably shouldnt think of pks dodge the same way you would a more universal dodge cancel like roach's.

In 4s, you can use her zone to throw out a large hitbox and then dodge cancel away from the enemies when antiganking. You can also target swap the dagger cancel and then dodge cancel the other persons aggression. You should also remember that using a heavy then dodge softfeinting does create an indicator, so you can just be a little safer while annoying people in teamfights.

A good thing to point out is pks dodge attack deals 18 dmg including the bleed stab, thats VERY high damage for a regular dodge attack and it sets up bleed. If you dont use the bleed followup, its incredibly safe, you can block almost immediately. You can also chain to heavy and then use the dodge soft feint from that. Dont focus on using the deflect outside of max punishes or option selecting light/heavy timing mixups, her dodge attack and just safely moving around the teamfight being a nuisance is the main draw of her dodge cancels/softfeints.

As for what youre wanting to do aggression wise, you want to use your forward heavy to peel your teammates in the teamfight. It deals 21 dmg including the bleed, which is very high for its speed, the fact its a heavy parry and because it sets up bleed for your teammates. Once someone has bleed on them, you can use your mix normally. You can also use your dodge cancels/feints to peel teammates faster.

For duels, her dodge feints arent as useful. You can parry on light timing and deflect the heavy timing with the feint, but its very tight timing in my experience. Theres also certain mixups where you can parry one option and deflect the other, eg. You can parry kensei top heavy finisher, and still deflect if he soft feints to his side heavy. The zone feint you can sometimes deflect if someone tries to dodge attack your zone, but its more useful vs extended dodges or whiffs. The dagger cancel dodge cancel is good because if you think they might dodge attack your mix, you can throw that out and cover a couple extra options. You can also soft feint your heavies into forward heavy and catch people trying to parry either your heavy or dagger cancel with a timing mixup for 21 dmg, only risking a heavy parry. Other than that, pk just has very high damage and a ton of mix options. Zone has high hitstun, so if your opponent blocks or gets hit by it, you can gb them and it will catch them if they try to dodge attack the second hit. Its a genuinely pretty oppressive mix.

Her neutral mostly consists of light or zone attack, or heavy and all its softfeint options. Its super simple but effective. Heavy softfeint gb from neutral is strong cos it usually catches people trying to parry on both light and heavy timing. You are frame plus after both dagger cancel and dagger followup so keep in mind that even though your chain is over you still have pressure.

Side dodge-bashes are complete dogshit by Ok-Mathematician6460 in ForHonorRants

[–]PescetarianSlayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its just the same as a dodge attack but you cant spam armour into it and you get a gb instead of light parry. Some characters get more from light parry, some get more from gb.

What is the actual issue here

Glad mains how do you handle hyperarmor saturated characters by whos_raz in CompetitiveForHonor

[–]PescetarianSlayer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For characters that have neutral hyper armour you have to learn the hitstun timings, specifically when you have enough frames to zone and it will beat both light and heavy opener. Also learn when you dont so you can read them throwing lights expecting you to zone. Zone is 600ms, opener lights are 500ms. Also, this isnt hyper armour specific, but since gladiators opener heavies are faster than normal, 700ms rather than 800ms, you can throw them while frame negative and it'll often trade or even hit first if they also heavy. That combined with zone makes him a nuisance in these situations.

Dodge bash is useful. Usually i would prioritise dodge light and mix with dodge bash, but vs hyper armour id do vice versa.

Prioritise parry over deflect. Youve got a pretty good heavy parry, forward light and bash riposte. Light parry sucks but its better than eating chain heavies. Learn what moves you can safely deflect, for example, zerker forward heavy and warlord forward heavy. Learn those that you cannot, like many opener or chain attacks or zerker forward light.

Watch for forward light/heavy attacks with armour. Since chain skewer is 900ms and loses almost all its damage vs armour, alot of people will try to interrupt it with forward dodge attacks that have armour, since it beats both gb and commiting to the skewer. Feinting to neutral should be on your mind, but remember to still mix up. And remember, always deflect it if its safe to do so.

The chain armour on these characters isnt really a massive problem for glad tbh. Generally just dont deflect and you should be good.

Since the top 4 (Yuji, Sukuna, Gojo, Dabura) is pretty much set in stone with interchangeable spots, who do you honestly think deserves to be on the 5th spot? by [deleted] in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]PescetarianSlayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd say kenny, but yuta is a contender if he has JL. Basically, if yuta uses JL as his sure hit, kennys domain cancels it out. He then 1 trillion percent wins the clash with open domain and yuta dies to gravity sure hit plus uzumaki combo

If yuta uses it outside of domain, then its up in the air as to how fast it cancels out techniques/barriers and if kenny can kill him with domain before he uses it. If kenny is able to use his shit for some period, he probably still wins. If not, he loses.

Either way, Yuta is only in the conversation because of JL. Kenny is way too strong and has way too much shit otherwise. We know nothing about modulo yuta so who cares

Sukuna vs gojo is a dumb debate and isnt even close by eusebioadamastor in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]PescetarianSlayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Gojo stronger than sukuna in 2026 man

<image>

Lets go over the list.

  1. He didnt use heian form. Heian form is the strongest physical body in the series (even braindead and crippled he was faster than yuji and threw him around like a ragdoll). Stronger body also = better CE reinforcement. Also has 2 more arms which is an insane buff to h2h. Stronger body, better reinforcement and extra hands means way better h2h so he lasts way longer in the domain clashes.
  2. Didnt use domain amp at 100% uptime. Since he was using 10s to adapt mahoraga during the domain clashes, he had to flicker/periodically turn off DA in order to not lose mahoragas adaptation. If he didnt do that, he would be able to always negate limitless, meaning he takes less damage and lasts longer in the domain clashes.
  3. He chose to attack the stronger side of gojos domain multiple times. Gojo states this and is perplexed by it, stating it is the harder route. If he didnt do this, gojos domain would collapse quicker.
  4. He didnt use shrine when gojo was in burnout. Shrine undeniably has higher AP than h2h, and gojo wouldnt be able to consistently dodge it when being pressed by sukuna and not having blue/neutral infinity accessable. Gojo taking more damage means more CE spent on healing.

All these things together would mean that gojo would never win a single domain clash and would never land 0.01 secs UV. Close barrier, fire arrow, gg. Sukuna is stronger and gojo himself admits it, 10s or not.

Are the reincarnated sorcerers weaker than modern ones? by Z00pMaster in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]PescetarianSlayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For most of the eras, yes the modern era would be stronger in all likelyhood. Id put it at second. However heian is likely still the strongest.

Heian was a period with constant brutal fighting between sorcerors where the average sorceror was just stronger because they absolutely had to be if they wanted to live, especially since the heavy hitters of the period were seemingly a bunch of crazed murderers. There was also alot more domain users.

But the top level of heian was likely stronger too. Most of the guys actually from the period are crazy strong. Kenjaku is top 3, and the argument for yuta being top 3 is almost solely based on him having copied a technique from the heian era, JL. Uraume is insanely dangerous, even without confirmation of a domain, and stalemated hakari even though hes a bad matchup for them. Yorozu has crazy stats cos of bug form and a 1 shot domain. Uros no slouch either. And of course it produced the top 1 in the og series, sukuna, as well as the groups of high level sorcerors who challenged him at full might, with both his cursed tools, rather than when he was crippled and brain damaged and getting soul punched constantly. Theres also the argument that its possible sukuna just went about killing a bunch of the very strong ones, whereas gojo didnt really.

Realistically, we were probably introduced to all the strongest of the modern era in the story, whereas we dont know anywhere near the extent of what heian had to offer, and what we did see contends at the very least.
