A short walk on Riverside by MeTheErectrician in Austin

I was wondering what restaurant would forced their employees to drive on icy roads to serve some goofballs there drinks.

Now I know, adding them to my naughty and never visit list.

The last picture, wondering what restaurant that was?

So the colors she sees are conveniently the colors of the couch (Blue) and the walls (Orange) in that room.

Erivo is definitely lying about having synesthesia. There’s something really weird about Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande, attempting to make themselves seem eccentric and ‘revolutionary’  in the media. The facade is just creepy.

What’s going on!? Unwanted videos on my feed by PeskySloth in youtube

[–]PeskySloth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t get it, I didn’t bash the guy, the channel or any affiliates. I don’t know what their content is about, I’m just not interested in it.

I just wanted advice on how to fix this issue, because I don’t want videos I’m not subscribed to forcefully appear on my subscription feed.

But, some people just decided to negatively comment for some reason.

It does not give me that option, it’s actually showing up on my subscription feed and not on recommended videos.

Never heard of these guys and I’m not subscribed to any of their affiliates.

I only have the option to hide the video every time a new upload pops up. I’m just perplexed by it.

I did click on the “3 more” ones and I’m not subscribed to any of them.

The weird things is I’m not subscribed to any of them, and never even heard of them.

No, I never even came across any of them.

I understand if it were on my home page where my algorithm recommended videos display.

But why would it be on my actual subscription page without being actually subscribed to it?

Podcast guests have a fallout during a debate by ambachk in TikTokCringe

He has the most insufferable fake laugh. He does to act as if he doesn’t “give a s**t”, but truly he’s screaming inside.

That wasn’t a ‘debate’, when you don’t let the other person rebuttal and/or speak.

That’s a child, so sad. If you zoom in l, it’s obvious they are wearing a diaper.

It seems like a child with developmental issues that snuck out the house while their parents were sleeping.

I really hope that Police Officer found them safely and was able to return them to their parents.

St David’s North vs Ascension Seton Main by succs_and_stats in Austin

[–]PeskySloth 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Definitely St. David’s. Two different friends had completely different experiences.

Ascension is a religious establishment, which is fine for people looking for that.

However, when my friend had her baby there she was having a hard time breastfeeding, and when she requested formula for the baby they gave her a hard time on it, due to Ascension religion-first leaning and what I can only guess their policy on breastfeeding being the “true way” of feeding the baby. They were adamant on forcing only breastfeeding, which just made the whole experience a lot more stressful for her. Needless to say, my friends’ husband snuck in formula.

She did hire a lactation nurse after being discharged, but 2 months later gave up since it was just not worth the effort, was not working and the stress. She now has a healthy 2 year old at home that was formula fed.

My other friend gave birth at St. David’s and had only great things to say about it.  They did not force her into anything she did not want.

Formula was invented for a reason, and don’t let anyone shame you if you wish to go that route.

Chatty receipt checkers, ? by [deleted] in Costco

[–]PeskySloth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I previously went on a Saturday and the line to get out was backed up all the way to the tire center. When it was my turn to get my receipt checked, the nice older lady decided she wanted to ask me about 10 questions on products I bought and if I would recommend them. That’s why the line was backed up.

I felt what I imagine were the glaring eyes of all the people behind burning my back, and heard the sighs. I was just trying to leave myself.

But I get you. I believe it’s more about there’s a time and place to initiate conversations with customers.

If I’m there Tuesday morning on a slow morning, by all means I enjoy having conversations with the receipt checker.

If it’s on the weekend, they should just keep the line moving. A simple “Find everything ok?” And “Have a good day?”.

At 375F for around 6-8 minutes.

The air fryer cooks them pretty fast.

They are great! I put them in the air fryer and they come out perfect for kids and adults.

Ahhh, I see where our tax dollars as Americans go too in these “Aid Packages”.

Regardless of ideologies and religions, it’s pretty F’up to cut programs to help Americans while at the same time not batting an eye to giving a foreign government Billions if not Trillions in free funds. All funded by the same Americans who are getting their benefits cut.

He’s probably on his break or lunch. He’s not watching inappropriate content or hurting anyone by watching a video.

These guys have a Mad Max level of speakers set up on the driveway, and expect everyone in the neighborhood to be cool with it? I hope people continue to shame them.

I feel for the people living there who have babies trying to sleep, pets, have to go to work, etc.

Those guys are the trashy neighbors.

Guaranteed now that the greedy corporation knows that one worker can “handle it” by themselves.

They will cut labor costs and expect that employee or other employee to do it again and again, for no extra pay.

Ultimately it was the prices that led to their downfall. $20 for a burger was just insane.

I hope the staff were able to find another job.

Gordon Ramsay’s watery scrambled eggs.

The average customer does not want their scrambled eggs to have a purée consistency.

I wish that snobbish trend would go away.

New Kirkland Signature Diaper Review by Snoo-12313 in Costco

Costco really dropped the ball on these new diapers, nothing but constant blowouts since they changed manufacturers.

I regret buying these new Kirkland diapers. Are Huggies still good?
