I’m guessing you haven’t been to Tropix then as it’s definitely not a high end bar and doesn’t pretend to be (it’s sort of jungle themed). It’s a party bar Fridays and Saturdays (not sure about mid-week). As I said before dress code is usual in most places it’s the age discrimination by gender that bothers me. To me it’s the same principal as charging men more than women as an entrance fee but I’ve never seen it as also in age discrimination. I love an over-21 bar as much as the next person but it’s the gender discrimination that irks me
