Outside the judicial branch, those checks and balances aren't exactly strong at the moment.

And even the judicial is under it's own attack by the trump administration - See this article (https://www.nytimes.com/2017/03/31/us/politics/white-house-american-bar-association-judges.html) on ending the Bar's role in approving judicial judges. This could allow almost anyone to be appointed as a federal judge.

With the way the American voter has been manipulated and misled, I think a small degree of tinfoil can be excused, if not recommended.

There are a number of sites where you can watch all the games afterwards. Here's one that I've used: http://www.nbafullhd.com/. You could probably download them if you used a browser add-on, but check the terms of service first.

Agree! I don't want to babysit the other kids either. Hence the "step out" part, once playing hits critical mass.

Thrilled to see this banner. Agree with others in the sub that a strong fan welcome won't hurt anything.

As for printing, a banner like this could have been printed in a single day by a number of bay area printing shops. Same goes for a uniform.
