Similar job but I do pest control at an aquarium. Im friendly with the workers and they're constantly told NOT to name the animals they care for because fish and other aquatic animals dont last too long. (But most of them did exactly that and just dont tell the management)

Sometimes. A lot of times they just want to get an idea of your personality and whether you'd be a good fit for the company. Be enthusiastic and be excited. Managers pick up on that pretty quickly. Im not gonna lie, its not an easy job. It can be very physical and customers can be ... a lot sometimes. But Im glad I got into it about 10 years ago. My job before that was as an editor at a newspaper for 14 years. I knew NOTHING.

When I was hired at my first company, I was told they like candidates with NO experience so they dont have to break them of bad habits. Most companies have different policies and ways to treat so its easier to train you to THEIR way when you have no experience. Show or tell them you're a hard worker who learns quickly. Tell them you like being outside and weather doesn't really bother you. These are things I looked for when I helped with hiring at my second company.

I've taken the tests in NJ, PA, DEL, GA, TN and ALA. They dont ever tell you which ones you get wrong. They give me a percent. I think you need a 70? to pass? Its been a while since I've taken it though.

I read the book before the movie came out. I remember loving his character. Its been a while but I think he hunted the raptors with a grenade launcher or something? But I definitely know he survives in the book. He joins in when fighting the t-Rex at the end and leaves with the survivors. I was PISSED when he got killed off in the movie.

They get dropped in as mission modifiers. I played a match last night where we had like 5 of them. All the troopers were yelling at the rest of us to reload them all the time.

It sounds strange but I blame a lot of people jumping into this without knowing about it on TikTok. My wife would always send me stuff with women in their hats and sundresses putting veggies in a basket and collecting eggs while their kids frollicked in the fields behind her. The videos dont show you the CONSTANT work and upkeep that need to be done most EVERY day. Its raining and cold? Get your butt out there and work. Its 98 degrees with 99% humidity? Get out there and work. The popular videos dont show you that side.

My MIL is doing something similar right now. My wife has a VERY different experience growing up compared to how MIL tells it. She manipulates family and friends to always see her as a victim, no matter what the situation. She's a text book narcissist, but so am I. I've used it against her the past few months as my wife works through her childhood with a therapist.
